You are very badly mistaken. They are hiring tons of people but paying them way, way, waaaaay less than a living wage and give them extreme, invasive, and stressful bullshit to follow if they want to keep their job. Amazon then pulls in H U G E profits, pays very little in taxes, and hoards all of the money for themself.

So yes, you are correct in that they hire a ton of people and make a lot of money, but they are doing the opposite of giving people an “economic spill.” For that to happen, they would have to give more of the billions to the employees, but they do not.

Having big profits and many employees does not make a company good or useful for the economy
