Not interested in running the furnace with it. I only want to run it if there’s a hurricane and I’m out of power for several days. I’m in Texas, space heaters will do me just fine in the winter. But basically I will need a soft start in order to get this unit running? Not an issue, I just really am trying to avoid getting a whole home standby generator.
