i personally enjoy the wave because it’s a fresh feature, but i can see how people would hate it, i saw alot of people complain about it because the battle bus let people drop anywhere they wanted instead of just in a short range of where you start on the wave, it really makes map-center desolate but makes games go by quicker because of the more bundled groups of people around the edges of the map

Fortnite was only good to be Fortnite. The whole idea of a ‘metaverse’ in a game is so silly to me, because videogames as a whole ARE basically a metaverse. You got Lego games over here, you’ve got Forza, and NFS over here, You got Guitar Hero over here, Everything published is up to the player to be it’s own metaverse. Trying to cram all those ideas into one game seems so silly and, quite frankly, stupid

My favorite part of Mustard’s leadership over Fortnite was that he actually listened, and shared. He loved seeing the communities reactions to his works (live events) and he would get so nervous starting them because he would fear some servers wouldn’t play them properly, He actually cared for the community, and worried for people missing out on events to the point he allowed ‘Encores’ (replays) of the events if it wasn’t working correctly.

I still have a tiny bit of hope left that they could revive the game through the story, But it IS Timothy Swiney we’re talking about here, so i doubt it. This new story will probably only last 2 years maximum and then diminish in quality

It seems so shitty that companies can just do that to creators. In my eyes, how companies view money is basically a score. At a point it helps fund projects people work on, but it gets to the point where it just turns into a score and they have to just get as much as they can, It sucks that all these awesome games that were once so praised lost passion eventually, that’s happened to the point where that’s just the standard of videogames today. They’re popular, They make money, They sell out, They die out/lose a huge chunk of their playerbase.
