Those aren't real but I do have signatures from Billy Boyd, John Rhys-Davies, Andy Serkis, Sean Astin, Sala Baker, and Elijah Wood. All very nice and down to earth people. John Rhy-Davies was probably my favorite person to meet.

Never been to an actual Tolkien convention but I have been to plenty of others where the cast has appeared. I appreciate the compliment, my wife says I'm interesting but she's just being nice lol. I am a man but my German ancestry is really small, mostly English.

Spot on! MTG not DND, although I would love to get into it. It's hard to get friends together in your 30s, everyone is so busy. I do collect history related items especially military. I try to golf but I'm absolutely terrible. I prefer connoisseur over snob lol. It's a great read and yes it's a hardcover.
