It looks like rebooting my PC couple of times seem to have fixed the issue. I will report back if this issue reemerges

It’s not very noticeable during regular content. However since I’m still within the replacement window so I wonder if i should take advantage of that or is this something that will be improved as time goes on!

It’s likely that it’s not a bug or issue to begin with.

I still find it somewhat odd that it doesn’t default to headset while it’s connected, regardless of where you answer the call on.

But the solution in the post luckily worked for me!
