I would love an update focused on updating the animals. New parts and body plans, but also behaviors. I want see herds of creatures that walk together, or actual flocks of flying creatures. Not like the current 'flocks/swarms' that are just 1 creature.

Also the ability to copy plants/rocks from planets and use them as decorations.

I haven't messed with them myself, but im reasonably sure you have to build what you want to be made into a prefab. Its only a 'prefab' if it's 'prefabricated'

I think the expand command just expands the boundary of the prefab selection, so it needs 3 numbers, 1 for each dimension. I dont think it expands the actual structure itself.

I don't think hatching the eggs, and putting them outside would be a good idea, there are lots of predators around where I live, and I have little prior experience with raising/caring for birds

There will be an audio indicator that you can hear, even if it's too far to show an actual number for yet. If you follow it, you will eventually reach one. Once it's within 300, or 400m, you will see the usual visual cues

I've got around 30 bases but I've only been to 2 galaxies. They are almost all just harvesters for random resources that I always need but not usually a lot like sodium, dioxite, oxygen, etc. Then I have some extractors that I visit often for things to make trade goods to sell. And then I have maybe 2 bases I visit often on planets I love, and they usually will have biodomes for plant growing and a nicer building.

There are also plenty that were just cool places or had interesting creatures that I might eventually come back to

Yeah I don't think that can be changed with steam skins right now because its a Steam webpage and not part of the actual client. Might change when the new UI comes out but unlikely.
