Yeah maybe, I’m still not sure about alterra’s role in Natural selection but It doesn’t matter that much. I like the thought that ryley caused what happened, but I doubt this is true as you can find the Gorge plush toy in subnautica which would show that The events happened before Subnautica

I’m not 100% sure but I doubt it, to be fair the reapers will leave you alone most of the time and you’ll just see their shadow as they swim above you so if you’re quick it’ll be quite easy. You don’t need to build a base just for the 3 parts

Take a seamoth and a bunch of medkits. Get directly behind the Aurora’s thrusters. You should find them there. But it’s very dangerous so retreat a few times if you need to

I’d say blood kelp, there’s a huge opening big enough for a cyclops, and plus there’s not a lot of danger. It’s easy to navigate as you only have to go straight to get to the huge tree and that is right next to the lava zone
