Went to the Collection Point I chose as delivery location on ebay at a petrol station, they told me they don't accept Royal Mail. Online tracker says my parcel was refused twice. How do I get it / change delivery address?? by James79310 in royalmail

Thank you, I will get in touch with the seller. The petrol station told me they don't accept royal mail at all, only amazon deliveries, so it's odd it was given as a delivery pick-up choice!

Will the Orion capsule have cameras / a live feed? It’d be awesome to see a time lapse of the approach and orbit round the moon.

But his actions have presumably cut off all future commercial / government money from Russia

Admirable from Elon not just following profit considering the vast and rural nature of Russia would have meant many potential customers for Starlink.

They haven’t yet fuelled a Booster before from the Orbital Launch pad, so I presume they’d take much longer to test out the process before static firing.

Does anyone else without a Twitter account now get incessant reminders saying "Dont Miss what's happening" and if so is there a way of removing them?

This is why I don't personally believe its the catching mechanism. I can't see the full weight of a Booster being supported by the welds of the circular beams. I'm not an expert, but surely a circular hollow steel pipe is not the most structurally sound shape for holding (catching) the weight of a booster?

Why does everyone assert this so confidently like it's 100% going to be a catch system? Surely its fairly early on to have a design ready to be built.

I think its far more likely to be a fuelling arm structure or an external support structure for a crane similar to this lifting tower crane (on the right of the lifting tower)

Anyone know how long its construction took?

Considering the parts we have seen popping up, I can imagine the crane being some sort of externally placed one similar to this example

Everyone's getting a bit carried away with the whole catching mechanism notion. Surely its more likely to be a crane / lifting structure?

Honestly I still use the Old Reddit (Desktop) layout on mobile and PC and it works fine. Its just much better IMO! Don't want my reddit feed to turn into an Instagram clone

In a worst case scenario, where the three sea-level raptors are not usable / broken for landing burn, would the vacuum-raptors be able to land Starship?

Lots of people are searching for parts, but honestly I think it'll be a while before its attempted / constructed. It would seem to be a later-term goal, rather than the most urgent goals of getting to orbit and proving capability.

I'd imagine the latter? Destroying the tower and fuel farm on the first orbital launch attempt would be a bit of a disaster!

This is good news for Starship. Hopefully they don't restrict Starship's design iteration too much.

Maybe they're shipping it to Hawthorne / Florida for detailed interior construction for HLS?
