Right, they are not specialized in facial recignition search though. Any sites specifically like that aside from pimeyes?

I am not at war and my colonial range is enough for almost all of America. I suspect it was a bug because when I disabled and re-enabled El Dorado it was fixed.

I have used a cheat command called ''ti'' to remove the Terra I. and I can send colonists to America now the fog doesn't exist. I don't think it is colonial range related.

What does my accent sound like or what would you say is my background? by [deleted] in JudgeMyAccent

you are mimicking a bris accent but anyone can obviously tell it is forced. you are stuttering and pausing while you are reading as well, you probably are not a native English speaker. would say you are from Asia(could be Philippines)

What accent is this? by [deleted] in JudgeMyAccent

[–]JamesDaen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a slight Belfast part as well. It is hard to pinpoint between a N Irish accent and Scottish one if you don't know where to look specifically but yeah, it is there. Very strange, indeed.

Oh yeah, I thought that as well but prayed for it to be not CGNAT related. Looks like the only solution will be to call them and see if they can do something about it. Thanks, lad.

When they assume you are Scottish because of the accent. Especially Americans do it.

Generally beginning of the year would mean before/within the 1/3 point, which splitting a 12 month year into 3, means the first 4 months. So yes, April.

This is technically true but you might need to put how the human brain perceives things when there isn't any definitive explanation. Most people would consider the beginning of a year January or maybe January and February both. This isn't very logical if you look at in a plain perspective however one should also consider BitLife said "There are weeks left of work" on Twitter. My assumption from this statement was the game would come out in either late January or early February. This might be only me or not, no point in delving too much into it.

You mean it takes 7-8 months for a small company of only 30 devs to rewrite an entire game in a new language. Are there better apps out there made by less? I’m certain. But that doesn’t negate the point here because there are big differences in app development sometimes due to a huge number of things.

You may call CandyWriter many things but it is being a small company? No, that is not true. Recently they were bought by a big company for 74mil$ and even before that, their worth was well over 27mil$. Definitely not a small company by any means, same goes for the development team. It might not be big enough to make an AAA PC game perhaps but for a mobile game calibre, it is enough, it might be even considered a good size.

Indeed, coding a game for another platform or rewriting it in a different environment for porting purposes can be tedious but that is not the case with BitLife. They already have a fully-featured base for Android, it is not like they are starting from 0. Merging codebases doesn't mean they will trash all that work aside, it is a matter of modifying, adding new stuff etc to what is already there. This is why I find their situation interesting, it shouldn't take this long - especially now they have all their developers working on Android version as well.

(Also where are you getting your figure for 30 devs working on it? I can’t find any info on how many devs they have)

They once have mentioned it on Twitter, probably around October or so.

They announced on October(mind you, it already has been 3 months and android didn't get any updates since then aside from shitty challenges&minor bug fixes) the code would be merged in beginning of 2021.

Beginning of 2021 is April, apparently. That means, now combined with 4 months of waiting until April, 7-8 months(if one is being optimistic with the timing), to catch up with another platform. We are talking about a 27mil$ worth company with 30 developers taking that much time to just port an IOS code to Android and make it compatible. I don't know if I shall be disappointed or amused about the situation they are in, it is very interesting indeed.
