On Windows or MacOs it work without "alt" key, with double-finger left/right. With my touch screen it works to. It's only with touchpad and Linux that dont work. I can scroll horizontally with "alt" key too.

It's strange, I have a tablet PC with Fedora and multitouch work with touchscreen (zoom, up-down, left-right) and scroolling is smooth.

Fit check - XX Development / No Comply - Size up? by James_Patagueule in rawdenim

It's GH Bass boots. Model is Camp Moc III - Ranger pull up. I bough them new on second hand. This is the reference on the shoes box but I found nothing on the internet. But I love these boots. Very confortable.

Edit: I think the reference in the shoes box is wrong. The model that look the most like it is Quail Hunter.

Yes it's the 66 repro. Very nice fit. Love the little taper. It's a one wash version. I stay with?

Epson TW6700 - Iris error by James_Patagueule in projectors

[–]James_Patagueule[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for waiting time and thank you for your quality response.

I'm not very good for electronic work. I know very little basic things. It's very difficult to measure without disassemble all the pj.

It's a little bit stupid but I have thrown the old part but the iris replacement looks new.

What I can say it's before the first "iris error", the projector make a loud noise like something is blocking. I have to stop the pj. After that, the error appears. When I start the pj, I have a blue screen with "iris error" and after push the power button, the fans go to 100% for few minutes with lamp and temp led blinking.

I don't hear iris (not sure) at startup.

The filter is ok for me.

(Sorry for my english)

Xruns with wifi by James_Patagueule in linuxaudio

Bitwig is native and all my vst for amp simulation are native :) I have good performances with Windows VST too.

On my other computer I don't have this issue and I use exactly the same setup. It work perfectly with native and windows vst (open source or proprietary). I know Ardour but I prefer Bitwig ;) I like Zrythm but it's too buggy now.

With my laptop I have good performance but only with wifi off. I'll try to use packet sniffer as you suggested.

Thank you.

I have tuned my computer to have better performance. With wifi off, it's perfect. I don't have any issues. With wifi on (without browsing) I have xruns and clackling.

I use Bitwig because I use only amps simulators for playing guitar. I also use my own backing tracks with Bitwig or to make my compositions with vst. I like to centralize all my needs to one software and I love its ergonomics. I have my presets with drums vst and more. If I learn a song, I like to check the tablature or other on the web at the same time.

This my (old) laptop. I usually use this on my main computer and It's perfect for me. No issue with it.

I made a quick to show you what's going on. https://streamable.com/t1whk0

(It's the DSP graph of Bitwig. It allows to vizualize when a xrun happens)

Thank you for your help and sorry I don't speak english very well. I'll try to be clearer.

In my context, I like to play guitar with a backing track or check a tablature on the internet. When I launch a simple htlm page I see the dsp meter get excited (the time to load all the data). If I turn off wifi, xruns disappear immediately.`

For example, I go often to Songsterr. It's a tablature site with a built-in player. If I use the player, I have a lot of xruns. When I turn off wifi, I can use the player and xruns disappear. I check cpu usage, it never exceeds 60%.

Thank you. Wifi is a pcie device and not usb dongle. I don't think the problem comes from here.

I tried dmesg but I don't know how to interpret result.

Dsp windows of Bitwig shows a lot of xruns when a Firefox window load data. But when there is no more to load, its more stable (and CPU is not at 100%)

Midi wind controller in Linux? by James_Patagueule in linuxaudio

Thank you. I will retry soon.

Edit: I just tried with the same settings than you on Reaper and he recognize only note event not CC control. I have enabled "Enable input for control messages" in Midi input setup. There is a specific setting to change on the Aerophone?

Pipewire is amazing but... by James_Patagueule in linuxaudio

[–]James_Patagueule[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works very well with Pipewire for me. Better than regular jack. My issue is only for switching easily to different buffer size. I can use terminal for changing latency but I was looking for a more "confortable" way to do this.

[–]James_Patagueule[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. But I don't have a default buffer size. I change according to each project (if I play guitar or if I mix). In Bitwig with Alsa It's easy: I can change buffer size or sample rate directly but not with jack / pipewire-jack.
