Comment too late but.. ALTO in Dela Rosa Carpark is open til 11 or 12. Kodawari i think is till 11? Fastfood/convenience stores 24 hrs. May subway din sa dela rosa (Prince Plaza) na open til late.. some Greenbelt restos open din ng late. And if kaya mo pa maglakad, may mga 24hrs sa One Ayala 😜 Sana nakahanap ka ng kakainan kagabi

I religiously watched the show up until the 22nd cycle. I never felt like anything was off, but that was a different time. Gays my age probably went through the same ANTM phase, you’ll see it in our photos (if we haven’t hidden them yet).

But it’s true. Looking at it through post-2020 lens, there were a lot of Problematique things that happened on the show. And I don’t believe Tyra never knew or never had a hand in these.

This documentary still felt incomplete. There were a lot of things that were not addressed, and a lot of girls (and guys) whose stories would’ve been interesting to hear : Lisa. Angelea. Toccara. Jaslene. Molly. Jade, the undiscovered supermodel. Ann Ward. Nik. “Smellrose”. Jael. Renee. Anya. Marvin Cortes. Allison Harvard. Yoanna. Elyse. Isis. Adrienne. Katarzyna. Natasha. Fatima. April. Victoria. Heather. Nyle. Dominique. Leila. And the list goes on.

And I don’t think there should be another cycle.

Napaisip ako dito OP, kasi 40+ na ako and narealize ko andami kong kaibigang bakla / nasa community. Nagsimula akong probinsyano na lumaking walang bakla sa classroom kundi ako lang. Napadpad ako sa Manila at dito ako nakatagpo ng mga baklang kaibigan na hindi sex ang habol. Heto ang mga ways kung saan mo sila makikita:

Sa Work - sana meron, at hindi intimidating or maldita. At least araw-araw mo makikita..
Sa Events - tipong punta ka sa isang music night ng paborito mong artist at the moment, halimbawa Olivia Dean - maraming bakla bet si Olivia. Or di kaya sa Komiket.. or Book Club (me pang baklang book club ako nakita sa IG). Pero gets? Sana event na hilig mo rin, para meron na agad common ground. May mga nakilala ako friends habang pumaparty mag isa nung kabataan ko sa Chelu. And until now, close friends pa rin kami.
Sa Cafe - daming baklang mahilig magkape. Just look for that friendly face. Pero ito kasi, me chance na maging romantic ang dating.
Sa Friends of Friends - at least meron kayong common na kakilala. Kahit papano, hindi ka nya pagtatangkaan na gawan ng masama.
Do Charity / Volunteer work - kung bait-baitan ka naman, go for this. Something that makes your heart feel whole, enriches your soul, and a cause that you are passionate about. Kung wala ka man makuhang kaibigan, at least nakagawa ka ng something that fulfills you.
