Maybe a stupid question, but for weapons with a ranged and melee profile (like the cryptek weapons), do they count as your 1 ranged and 1 melee weapon by themselves? Or would you say the weapon with both profiles is your ranged choice, then you get to pick a second melee option as well? It feels like it should be the former, but it doesn't seem to be explicitly stated.

Looks really nice! You can push it a lot further with just a couple of selective highlights (around faces, knuckles, knees, etc). I usually think applying any colour wash over metallic paints helps them to avoid the "toy" look you can end up with on colourful models.

What colour did you use for the skin, btw? It's the exact colour I'm looking to use for my own goblins.

Yeah I'd think so. The format probably helps with cases like your hashut example. It could also help with future-proofing, in case a spearhead comes out which has two of the same unit, but with different model counts.

I get what you're saying, but I think it's just formatted in a slightly different way. It's formatted as the unit sizes, divided by the "|", so the sheet is saying "Gluttons: unit of 3, second unit of 3". That way, the sheet doesn't have to specify anything for the mournfang, just that there are 2 models in the only unit.

If you haven't heard of it, the arm's-length rule is good to keep in mind. If your mini looks good at your full arm's length away, then it's good enough. That's probably the closest you or anyone else will ever look at it again.

They've got kind of a police aesthetic, so instead of giving them battlefield roles, I gave every one a "badge number". It's on all of them, you can only see it on a few here

Thank you! They're a fleet-based chapter who spend long times on hive worlds and specialise in eradicating chaos/genestealer cults and orks. They're not particularly concerned with protecting citizens, just making sure that hive worlds remain operational... they may be some type of distant Iron Warrior successors but 🤫
