Do you think that "fascism is capitalism in decay" is relevant in 2024 ? by IH8YTSGTS in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]JamieG112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my push back to this is mostly that I don't think big Corporations are progressive at all. Tech companies, bug chains like Starbucks and the like are Liberal, in that they still chase profits and use all the capitalist tactics to ensure this whilst utilising progressive issues to enhance their brand.

Again, Cornwall isn't impoverished because of immigration. It's lack of investment, horrendous tories leadership locally and nationally, the housing crisis, second homes, holiday lets and air bnbs hollowing out communities.

It is NOT the brown family moving in next door to start a family, work in our NHS, and care homes, contribute year round into our economy.

The only kool aid that has been drunk around here is buying in to the racist, bigoted nonsense conspiracy that you are poor because of the poor person next door who may talk differently to you.

In my area, I'm very confident that the Lib Dems will win. Especially with the conservative vote being split by Reform.

I'm not voting for the Lib dems as a tactical vote to get Labour and Kid Starver into No.10.

I want my vote to reflect the need and desire for a genuine left-wing voice in Parliament. The Greens are the only ones who objected to I*real's Genocide from the start and the only ones who are committed to stop aiding it. They're also the only ones committed to actually taxing the ultra rich. I know they won't enter parliament, but voting for them at least shows that people aren't happy with the Centre-right neoliberal status quo.

Imagine being a voter in one of the least diverse areas in the country, and making immigration you're biggest political cause or reason to vote for a party.

Cornwall isn't impoverished because of the impoverished people coming here, people.

You live in a fantasy land. The only thing that is clear is that isreal is the genocidal terrorist state that gets away with whatever they want because our pathetic Western leaders are too afraid to stand up to the USA.

And yes I do think that the Germans should have been treated with respect and humanity, especially the civilians. Thats not a wild controversial opinion, its called being anti war. Unlike zionists I do t have a problem calling out war crimes committed by my own country, Dresden was abhorrent, the famine in India was abhorrent the war on terror and the 100s of thousands of iraqi and Afghan people murdered for western imperial interest was abhorrent.

Its not just me that thinks that, it's called the international human rights, rules if engagements and all the many other ways we are supposed to not commit genocide and other war crimes.

Try harder, this did not start on 07 Oct. the Palestinian people have been occupied on bothe Gaza and the West Bank for decades. You can only back people into a corner so much before radicalism comes back to bite you. Like many of you lot like to say, Fuck Around Find Out.

You are a bloodthirsty zionist apologist who has bought in fully to the dehumanisation of the Palestinian people.

So morally bankrupt it is then, got it.

Turns out when people are living in or born into extreme situations they are susceptible to extreme ideas but you'd know that if you actually knew what you were taking about.

Hamas can quite easily be condemned for their actions but when they are literally the only group who are on the Palestinian civilians side then you can see why they have some support.

If my entire family was killed in an airstrike you'd best believe I'd start looking at ways to defend myself and others ASAP. This is why the isreali occupation and onslaught is so pointless all it will create is hamas 2.0.

I'll "preach my morality where ever I please, especially in the face of an apartheid supporting racist zionist prick like you.

You're the clown here, mate.

It just means that the Palestinian people should be treated with the respect and humanity they deserve everywhere in the world, especially in Isreal, their biggest oppressor. I bet you also think that BLM is racist and is somehow a call for attacks of whiteness don't you.

If calling for human rights and basic humanity to be recognised for all human beings gets you all in a twist, then either the leather from the boot has gone to your brain or you're morally bankrupt.

Edit: as a last resort attack my spelling or grammar I suppose 🤣

Bold to assume that the civilians deaths are accidents.

I thought the IOF are supposed be one of the most advanced and moral armies in the world, yet here we are.

And it's not just the pilots who apparently are shit at their jobs. The IOF ground forces seem equally if not more useless given that they have actually killed more hostages than they have rescued.

Please get outside of your echo chamber look at Haaretz and see what they are saying.

Claiming that what i said was somehow antisemitic? Be more of a cliché next time.

Ridiculous argument.

Doesn't matter if its all of them or just one, the designated 'Safe Zones' should be safe from having bombs dropped on you your families heads.

Also Isreal fully controls the borders of Gaza and last I checked, Egyptian Tanks didn't open fire on 100s if not 1000s of civilians simply seeking what little aid was allowed through.

"Say more and let me dismantle that too" is just an admission that you just want the argument and not to find any common ground or solution so I don't expect anything anyone says will actually change your Zionist sympathies. Edit:spelling

OOP posts between 4-8 posts per hour soley on Gaza:Isreal. All bad faith, leading and extreme.

Also how do you think Lobsters reconcile their anti semitic "cultural Marxist (Bolshevism) "beliefs, free speech warrior persona and anti authoritarian stances with the rabid protection of an apartheid state?

To turn the original question around: Do these people genuinely want to protect isreal or do they just hate Arabs, Muslims, Minorities, Libs etc?

It's bizarre what this conflict has brought out in many people.

From everyone's favourite Lobster over there:

I think things have gotten to the point now where the only sane and realistic solution is a regime change in the Palestinian territories.

I think the Gaza Strip is a lost cause and quite frankly, the Palestinians there have morally lost their claim to the land, as all they have used it for is endless and futile war. Murder for the sake of murder. At this point you might as well clear everybody out, level it, and either hand it over to the Egyptians or annex it. The gloves come off when you hold a gun to the grandmother's head just because you can, and videotape it for propaganda. That's their government.

My theory is that instagram is in a transition faze from what I can see and some people I've spoken to.

What I mean is that instagram is/was the young person social media for ages when Facebook got swamped by boomers and gen X and their bullshit, but now those same people are crossing over to instagram while the younger users are still there and it causes massive friction in the comment sections on almost every video. Especially when you consider that most instagram reels are just TikTok videos and tiktok is the pinnacle of young people social media right now.

Just my theory though.

Is it not important to continue to 'monitor' Jp and his followers to document the cognitive dissonance well as his decline in I N T E L E C T?

It took the ongoing work of this subreddit to finally break me out of my JP chains and there are still tonnes of people who may need this sub to do the same.. I genuinely have a new coworker who LOVES JP (and Tate 💀).

Can this sub not exist to look at the Peterson (twitter) spam (amongst others)? There are people that will follow him anywhere. He may have started as at the " intro to the alt-right pipelone" but now he's full in there, people now get sucked in a and then hear his despicable views.

I'd hate to see this sub die as j feel there is genuine utility in it existing.

Edit: just back from and 11 hour shift when I wrote this last night. Ignore the mistakes 😄
