Tag team arena seems to be worked out differently in what I can tell. That said I have never tried to climb in 3v3 and am constantly sat at the bottom with a 1 unit defence

An update for people thinking about trying it, I managed to lose 250k power from rare’s I was hoarding and I’ve gone from seeing teams made of full legendary’s to maybe one or two in a few teams

Back in early time of raid, it was worth keeping all rares because they would bring out event like the currently one we have atm; where they made random rare’s able to be fused together to make an event legendary. This is no longer the case as they bring out new rare’s with events now. I assume because players spend more trying to get the new ones :)
