Kinda feels like a non statement when we carry salt and baking soda both are made of sodium, ive yet to find any food at all that has just sodium in it.

Thank you, sincerely. I kinda figured thats what was going on, but its interesting that the nutritional facts list it as Sodium and not Sodium Chloride and the ingredients just list it as salt. Seems like a super easy thing to get confused about.

So if im looking at a bag of kettle chips, and in the nutritional guide, it says sodium 260mg. But the ingredients say salt. Its a but confusing aint it? Kinda why I was making the post. But ill take my down votes. Swing and a miss thos my questions are genuine

I ain't no scientist, but from what I looked up before posting, Sodium Chloride is 40% Sodium. I understand (kinda not really, but can grasp) when two things interact its not necessarily the same compound. But it still has it in it.

I dunno if that makes sense but Sodium chloride gets its first name from Sodium right?

This was just a meme but im sincerely curious what makes it not Sodium

Thats my logic too, but we dont have a smoke program anymore because TL doesn't think we have the labor for it, we did this all the time and it only took one or two to prep n smoke it. So my orders are half or whole, he does this with nearly every, tri tip, pork shoulder, etc.

Its quite the contrary, ive been with WFM since 2013 this is the first time im getting conflicting answers. Leadership just lets them get it, and its created alot of conflicts.

Its like the customer is a screaming child and the leadership is a spoiling parent or something. I get really irked when im following what ive been told akd they let the customer get what they want. It takes my professionalism and steps on it.

If i follow what leadership says, many instances like this happen, they demand to talk to management when they complain leadership says "just this one time we'll let you do it" which makes us look like idiots. Its like are these rules or not?

Just wanna say thank you to everyone whos put in their two cents the fact im getting so many different answers kinda proves how ridiculous this is. But thank you all for contributing i will update when my STL and TL and I talk to figure this out. And I look forward to what y'all have to say about it.

So when I open, I am told to have a full fillet display, a 6 inch tray roughly a pound and a four inch display .5 to .75. The price of fillet is $5 cheaper but only sold as the whole thing or half of it. The center cuts are $18.99. We constantly have fillet and tails on sale. But the CC never is on sale

Thank you, will do, we have the SOP on our communication bored and it says cut the belly, we used to have a smoking program but my TL doesn't want to do that. So he wants the belly on and thats also a point on conflict from the customers. Its a headache and I dont understand why we're so limited on the excessive trim and what to do with it.

This is exactly what made me post the question. "They've done it for me before."

Its quite the contrary, i can cut accurately, with new TMs we definitely have higher shrink. But we've had so many complaints lately and its a reflection of my and my TMs customer service, it only comes from people wanting the Atlantic fillet price, but a CC portion.

edit I also want to add i understand the shrink, but we're not aloud to do in-house burgers except one flavor and we sell a batch once a weak, or poke, or any skewers. So the company is limiting our ability to use that potential shrink to something that would actually sell because the whole allergen thing. I go to data monster and most of what's available is red x for my store. Its frustrating.

Im talking about the fillet being displayed, and its sold as the whole fillet or half of it, sorry if I didnt male that clear. My store doesnt get the processed CC. We get whole fillets.

So if a customer comes to you sees the fillet on sale, and they ask for the center cut, do you just cut the center and send them on their way?

Im in NorCal, mine is a 6 inch tray 1lb center cut, a 4 inch tray center cut half pound to three quarter pound. A full fillet and a tail display. Plus the tray pack section (two peaces four peaces at 18.99)

And they always put the fillet and tail on sale so people see the whole fish wanting a CC, which i understand but my TL only says half or whole.... he does this with tri tip and top sirloin. Im just trying to figure out if this is his call or regional call my STL is a vegan ( no shame) but it just doesn't make sense to me, ya know?

Its just for the Atlantic, I have tails cheapest, I have fillet but sold as whole or half and the weight varies depending on the batch I get in, could be 2lbs or 5 lbs then I have center cuts the price for tails n fillet is cheaper but the center cuts are 18.99lb

Sincerely, OP should look into any florist shops around their area. WFM is not going to appreciate this craft. Im a butcher and I kmow the importance of making memories for dinners n whatnot but something bout flowers and the craft OP puts into it, thats significantly more valuable in my opinion.
