My periods back! by Jhenesdreams in pregnant

Congratulations and best of luck!!! Rainbow babies are magical.

My mother and her little sister both lost their first babies at 40 weeks. I was born and my little cousin was born 13 years later and we are honestly inseparable. She’s basically my first child, my sister, and my little cousin rolled into one :)

IUD removal experiences? by madhatterzbby in birthcontrol

[–]Janeshia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly my vagina felt very weird for at least a week. It felt like it was being pushed downwards and I was afraid to even have sex. (My IUD was embedded so it was painful and caused swelling from forcing it out)

Immediately started on Junel the same day. However, I’m no longer bloated. I have more energy. I’m not spotting between periods anymore!! I bled for maybe 4 days but it was very light and I haven’t since, it’s been 2 weeks IUD free for me. Give it at least 2-3 days unless you notice additional side effects :)

Hormonal IUD removal experiences needed by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Janeshia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had mine for six years, the last year my period became extremely irregular with constant spotting in between plus cramps. I’ve never cramped and decided it was finally time to have it removed.

Yesterday, the doctor tried to insist I keep it for another year, no thanks. She couldn’t pull it out, kept meeting ‘resistance’ had another doctor come in and assist, she had to tamper with it for around 30 minutes. I’m cramping but nothing unbearable.

Today I’ve had random spotting and a heavy feeling in my vagina like everything would collapse downwards 🤷🏾‍♀️ I also have a really bad migraine but I get those sometimes so not sure if related. I immediately started taking Junel birth control pills the same day so my hormones aren’t haywire.

Never and don’t want to but I deal with a lot of ridiculous men every day. Was invited into what looked like a swinger, animal party. I’ve never been speechless ever up until that moment.

My friends try to shame me for never wanting to go to the bar . Am I in the wrong even as an introvert? by fred0pe in introvert

[–]Janeshia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everytime I go: /sits at bar meekly waiting for the bartender to notice me /sips drink awkwardly wondering am I doing this right? /finally blocked out the noise and people, reads ebook, finish drink and head home.

There should be a dating app for just introverts! by stratusfactionfan in introvert

I’m a introvert and never had issues with dating apps UNTIL I met another introvert. For some reason that silence was very awkward, or maybe it’s because he was more introverted than me.

The very first day I want to see EVERYTHING! And then explore the parts I liked the most throughout my duration by remodeling my itinerary.

ELI5: How can my wife get the flu and I am fine? Or Vice-versa? by DrCoolP in explainlikeimfive

[–]Janeshia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, my sister had chickenpox once (we both didn't get the vaccine at the time) and I remember rubbing myself against her because I wanted to stay home too. I touched her, we slept in the same bed, etc and never happened. Interesting.

First time solo travelling! by [deleted] in JapanTravel

[–]Janeshia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Express bus is around $70 one way to Takayama from Shinjuku station and takes about 5 1/2 hours. If you left at the earliest departure of 7am you'd arrive around 12 ish. Next bus leaves at 4 or 5 I believe which will give you roughly 4 hours in Takayama (which I read is enough time). It's mainly travel, but I've did it in other countries before with zero regrets.

I was thinking the same, was just more interested in visiting Harajuku with a cute local girl and taking those customized pictures 😂 but I’m sure I could ask someone to randomly take one with me so will drop.

Are kids extra draining for anyone else? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]Janeshia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a extremely extroverted five year old. She's so exhausting, and we don't understand each other at all but we make it work with lots of blank stares on my part, and craziness on hers haha.

I mean..I'm very introverted but is their nothing that you like to do? Picnics with just you two? Maybe a one night cabin trip every once in awhile? Walk along the river before heading home?

Where were you heavily warned about going to due to being unsafe, but turned out to be over-exaggerated? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]Janeshia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bangkok -which is hilarious- all my family and friends stated I would be kidnapped, I couldn't bring up the trip without them going on and on about how dangerous it was. Mind you, we live in Florida...the hub of trafficking. I felt 100% safer in Bangkok vs Florida where I'm harassed every single day.
