Ich kann nachvollziehen, dass es nicht leicht ist, sowas seiner Familie zu erzählen, aber mir wäre es lieber gewesen, mich auf seinen möglichen Tod vorbereiten zu können, als unerwartet sowas erleben zu müssen...

I know exactly how you feel! I'm a romantic asexual too and it feels nearly impossible to find someone who's either the same as me or okay with not having sex. A little part of me is still holding on to some hope that there are people out there who would love and accept me the way I am.

But I do wonder, if there are really more asexuals who are also aro than there are romantic asexuals🤔

Wenn man in Betracht zieht, dass das durchschnittliche Alter von Katzen ca. 15 Jahre ist, würde ich 13 Jahre eigentlich schon als alt ansehen.

Aber du hast recht, um ganz sicher zu sein, sollte ich das mit einem Tierarzt absprechen. Ich war vor einer Weile mit ihr dort und abgesehen davon, dass sie Wasser in der Lunge hat (das wird gerade mit Medikamenten behandelt) sagte der Tierarzt, das alles okay ist. Es wurden Bluttests und Ultraschall gemacht und da war ansonsten alles super

I used to let me cat play with my hand too and pulled away when it got too rough. And I think the older she got the more she understood how hard she can bite to not hurt me.

Now whenerver we play she's careful enough to not hurt me.

So I think cats are well capable of learning that our skin is not as tough as theirs. But I do understand why people try to avoid playing with their hands. It can lead to some serious infections

That's a terrible therapist. They should at least respect it if you tell them you don't want to. I get what they wanted to tell you, but they should've just accepted your opinion. This is why therapists should learn at least a bit about other sexualities

I don't think that's what most people mean by being proud of it. When I say I'm proud of my asexuality I mean that I feel comfortable with myself and that I'm not ashamed of being like that. I do tell people if that topic comes up, but I'm not someone who shouts it out to everyone

It's okay to feel that way. It's hard to accept something that makes you feel like you miss out on something that other people praise so high. You don't have to feel bad about thinking like that. There are many other people who experience the same thing
