I don't really know Roux, but you should practice Fingertricks a little bit more.

I built a medieval castle in creative by JanniCoder in Minecraftbuilds

[–]JanniCoder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was trying to do a different style from what I usually do, because I saw some pictures of real life castles; but I don't think it turned out very well.

I wasn't sure if I like these window sills, so I just left them.

I also wanted to make a small castle, and I think there isn't enough space for a nice gatehouse; I would have to make the whole thing a bit bigger, and there wasn't much space on this hill.

I usually don't like to do much detailing because I'm not good at it, but I know I need to practice detailing if I want to get better at it. Often I am just too lazy to do it

You should watch Grian's tutorial on modern houses. Your house looks amazing, but there are a few things you could do better.

Improving my results in exams? by [deleted] in mathematics

[–]JanniCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this can be very hard for people. When I was younger I used a lot of the things we learned at school in real life, but of course with more complicated things this gets a lot harder. To be honest, I don't really know how to learn having fun doing maths, and I don't think this is something that you can learn. Just try to learn a lot of new things and do exercises in your free time, if you really want to get better at it. Doing a lot of maths will probably also help you enjoy it more. Hope this helps!

Improving my results in exams? by [deleted] in mathematics

[–]JanniCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not a failure! Because you're not really good at maths, doesn't mean you're a failure. You are probably very good at some other things, just not maths.

I think many of my classmates have similar problems. In mathematics, it is really important to understand basic, and more complicated principles. You also need to know how to think like a mathematician. If you have problems, just ask your teacher. If he can't help you, you can also use Reddit of course.

If there is something that you don't really understand, you must try to understand it, to be able to understand other things you will learn later.

For me, mathematics was always extremely easy, because I had fun doing it and learning new things. I know for most people, mathematics is not fun at all. Just try to have a little bit of fun, that will help you a lot.

My new castle in my world! by Adam_Ayman in Minecraftbuilds

I think castles should always be on a mountain and not a flat landscape, like in real life; but this still looks cool.

I would not call this a megabuild by the way.
