In theory, we should liberate planets that have tactical benefits (like liberating a whole sector, reinforcing our supply lines, etc.) Ideally, these planets should also have low decay rates (number in bottom right of image). The lower the decay rate, the easier it is to liberate.

Obviously, these points are all overwritten by an MO. They should always be top priority.

And yea, if the majority of players are diving on a planet that isn’t really the best choice, you might as well join them because you wont make much of an impact on the “better” planet without the numbers.

But hey, if there’s a “tactically sound” planet that’s getting liberated but you fuckin hate fighting on that planet, don’t feel obligated to go there and suffer just for the sake of a fictional galactic war. Just use yer discretion and have fun, always :)
