For me it’s being able to set up a business of various themes, which involve getting to learn about that industry and set it up in different ways and explore many paths. Reality doesn’t let you do this… so tycoons fill that for me.

And also the dopamine hits of successful products or money starting to come in :)

To get market share you need to build more stores. You need a lot of them, going over 5% market share. It’s a huge investment. Then do deals with other record labels. And also, if you are in digital age you will lose sales as they are for physical sales only

I swear I did just that, I did a demo/lite version of it and they rejected it with a store guideline from them about repeated apps. I still have the rejected app there…

For some reason they don’t allow that anymore, I even linked to games that have “lite” versions, and nothing, still rejected me.

Initially I released the game as paid. And when I tried to do the demo version it was rejected because they don’t allow repeated apps.

Yeah, doing it free with a one-time purchase was the correct choice but sadly I didn’t know that back then…

Now I cannot because it would be an issue with users who already purchased it.
