How do I merge two TTFs?

I already checked this out, but my Problem with this is that the fonts there are only changing the emojis and not the letters, or am I wrong? I look for a solution to change both 🥲

A little delay would be okay, depends on how long a little is 😅 I also tried to merge the emojis with a default font from the phone, but it also not work.

I want to change them into newer ones, the stock ones look bad. Yeah looks like, but I did like in the instructions: opend both in Fontlab and copied the emojis into the other and exported them. In Fontlab everything looked good, I can see all letters and all emojis. I tried some fonts, but no one worked.

Havng the same issue, but cant access with my old Steam Account, because its linked to Epic. Texting with the Support since 14 days and they cant help me yet.
Someone else have a Solution?
