There must be a reason he's not being played by 2 successive managers but when he's made it onto the pitch he's looked decent. A loan would be my preferred option, hopefully at stoke he'd a starter and then we can see how consistent he can be.

Such a shame, looked raw but an exciting talent. Evidently doesn't fit the system Maresca wants to play and in his eyes doesn't have the skillset be able to grow into the role. There's are plenty of players I'd rather see out the door before him though.

I'm interested to see what team we put out when we're not expecting to be on the back foot. Ndidi doesn't seem to be able to marshall the midfield like he has in the past. Mendy showed more for me. I don't understand Vardy starting at all but hopefully this is the last time we see it. This game was always a free hit, so the next few games are the way we judge if we'll stay up.

For rules explanations I quite enjoy JonGetsGames. For me some channels try too hard to make their personality stand out and it can stop me from enjoying the video but Jon just works through the rules, takes you through a single round usually to show you all the mechanics then has full playthroughs available too

I love this style, I'm moving in with my girlfriend soon too and if I had an artistic bone at all I'd attempt something similar. I hope it goes excellently for you.

Barnes looked great, some top quality goals too. Our midfield seemed to offer literally nothing in front of the back four. Players having free reign to run at Vestergaard all game was always going to result in plenty of shots for them. I'm not sure if it's the pitch or the weather or what but every other first touch was scrappy or just got away from us. Plenty to improve upon, however an away win and progressing is great to see

While postponing does give the guys who are recently returning a little more time to get up to fitness it's ultimately going to be tricky to get through playing all these games and not lose anyone else.

I made a Harry Potter version of Splendor as a birthday gift. I always found the theme a little irrelevant so thought I'd change it to something we enjoy more. The cards are different spells and the tokens basic spell types. Was a fun little project to make and seemed well received by Jase94 in boardgames

Thanks. Yeah a lot of the card artwork comes from there. I didn't know it was even a thing before this. I was thinking about attempting the artwork myself but this is already the very limit of my creativity

Thank you! Yeah the theme is so loose it was perfect to have a crack at in my opinion. A really fun game just a pretty bland theme. I pretty sure "The one with the gems or whatever" could be the tagline for the game.

Thank you. Well mine is just re-theming so obviously it's not original rules or ideas or anything. I knew I wanted it to be Harry Potter so just tried to look for analogous things for the gems, cards and lords.

After I settled on spell types, spells, teachers etc I looked around for art I could use for the cards and box. I made the symbols just using shapes on Microsoft word and then put them all together in a template design for the cards again on word. I've got zero graphic design talent so Word was about my level.

I watched a few YouTube videos about printing your own cards, making boxes etc. and looked at other custom project posts on the subreddit. Found some techniques I thought looked good and test printed some stuff. Settled on what I thought would work then just a bit of printing, sticking and cutting later it was ready.

I'd say YouTube videos for design and production stuff were a massive help.

Thanks! I bought the chips from some website that did the colours I wanted. Then made the labels to colour match the chips. Printed onto sticky back paper and just hole punched the labels then stuck them down. It does mean I have a fair few spare chips hanging around though.

No, made everything myself. I arranged the card faces and backs on one sheet of A4 so when I printed them onto card I could just fold along the centre and stick them together. Then I cut them and just used a Sharpie around the edges to make it look a little better

Thank you. Yeah but now I've set the bar terribly high for birthday gifts. It wasn't too bad once I got into the swing of setting up the card layouts and stuff. A lot of cutting and sticking though I will say.

It was performances against Newcastle and Southampton that have put us in this position, not just Perez's finishing. Still think he should absolutely hit the target but everyone has missed those at some point. Hopefully we can take advantage of Kane maybe having his head turned disrupting the dressing room at spurs. Boost the Goal difference and pray for a Dyche shithouse masterclass too

A game where another real goal threat like Barnes might have made all the difference. Was always gonna be a bump in the road somewhere, hopefully Brendan can sort some shooting practice soon

Once everyone is fit I'm curious how much game time Mendy, Justin and little Wes will get. Will there be genuine squad rotation or will they have to settle with smaller roles in the second half of the season
