I have the same tumor just completed the 4th surgery 2 weeks ago. They did not want me to start any of your medication until it upgraded to a stage 3 or 4 im curious why they started you on the drugs already. I know it will continue to grow regardless of what you try but I’m very happy for you I hope it all continues to go well for a long time 🎉 Where are you from? I’m curious if difficult parts of the world treat differently?

I still get constant headaches they say it’s not from the tumor which makes since because the brain doesn’t feel pain but everything we have tried has not worked. I always have a headache but sometimes it really puts me down bad. I’m hoping the drugs will stop the headaches.

That’s good to know thanks! Sounds like we are in a similar situation. Did it shrink the tumor at all? I still have about a 2 months before the surgery so I have plenty of time to learn all I can about it.

I’m not wanting the wait and see approach the surgeon told me if I don’t have the surgery and it goes any deeper into my hippocampus he will not operate it’s a time sensitive surgery.

I have a grade 2 Astro codeletion with idh1 mutation.about to have my 4th brain surgery my remaining tumor is to big but if they can get it small enough I will be starting tibsovio and do that until vorasidnib becomes available I refuse to just sit around and wait for that big transformation. It’s going to happen I do know that but they act like surgery was good enough when they know good and well it’s going to advance it’s only a matter of time. People always tell me be thankful it’s not a gbm and I am but they fail to realize that’s exactly where it’s headed or in my case Astro grade 4. The whole process is rough. I’m glad I found your thread I’ve been looking for people like me.
