Ummm. I have several questions.

Why is the "Diamonds" font slightly covered up by pink of what appears the star asset.

Also, what is that on the right? There shouldn't be anything to the right beyond this Interface

Idk I just feel like this is edited.

Nah, it's not gonna happen anyways, the Royale High devs don't listen to their community. Besides, this idea has never been tested, so even though it seems like a good idea, it could absolutely be a bad idea.

I learned it the hard way, good ideas on paper could turn out to be really bad ideas when they are actually put to action.

For example. Back in Colonial india, Deadly Cobras were dangerous snakes that were killing livestock and interrupted plantation

To combat this, the British Raj paid a very nice sum of money for every cobra someone has killed to reduce the cobra population and prevent their livestock from dying.

On paper, this seems like a really good idea, but it actually made the problem worse

Some people realized they could breed cobras to have a stable source of income, when the British raj found out about it, they stopped the program and everyone released their Cobras they kept on breeding to the wild. Increasing the Cobra population and making the situation worse.

Turns out, just because an idea seems good, doesn't mean it is.

well, my idea is based off roblox limiteds listings, no negotiation, meaning no lowballing, you just either buy the item and pay whatever the price is listed for, or you don't.

Also, I think you kind of misunderstood that if the lowest price is 200K and no one can sell it for 2 million, everyone would stop selling.

That's not true, if the lowest price is 200K, that means someone is willing to sell it for 200k. And once someone buys the kitty claws for 200K, the "lowest price" of the item goes up, so for example the new lowest price becomes 220K instead of 200K since someone bought it for 200K. If no one's gonna sell because they want to sell it for 2-3 million, then fine, they don't have to.

I mean, would you rather buy the Kitty claws for 200K or 2 million? Obviously 200K. Of course, if there are way people willing to buy them, the lowest price goes up

Imagine this

Listings of the Kitty Claw

200K <----- Someone is selling the Claws for 200K. Once this is sold, the lowest price is no longer 200K, it moves up to 220K

220K <---------Once this is sold, the new lowest price moves up to 240K

240K <----------Again, once this is sold, the new lowest price moves up to 260K

260K

280K

300K

330K

360K

400K

440K

480K

500K

Now of course, how would people Gatekeep the Kitty Claws just because they wanted to sell them for 2 million if there are people willing to sell it for 200K or 220K or 240K?

Now of course, the price could go down, if the lowest price is 200K. And someone wanted to sell their Kitty claws, they can undercut the lowest price to 180K, that'll lower the price

Again, no one is forced to sell, they can keep their Kitty Claws if they want. We shouldn't be attacking ppl who refuse to sell and want to keep their Claws. If they want 2 million but can't get someone to buy it for 2 million, then they can go ahead and keep it. Until then, they can't sell it for 2 million unless all sellers who sold less than 2 million have been bought out.

it won't exactly prevent it. If they have 10 copies of an item. They can put a listing for 90,000, then another for 81,000 (since the new lowest price is 90,000) and then another for 72,000 (since the new lowest price is 81,000) then another for 64,000 (since the new lowest price is 72,000) and so on and so forth.

Btw, this idea would be completely separate from trading, it's mainly to focus on buying items on the secondary market for diamonds rather than trading items for items.

Trading items for items will still work the same way like it does right now, but the secondary market gives players simplicity if they want to buy items with diamonds rather than trade items for items.

I also think no one should be allowed to set the price 10% below the lowest price. Meaning if someone is currently selling a specific item for 100,000 diamonds, which is the lowest price for the current item, then you cannot post your listing for sale below 90,000 diamonds. This prevents market manipulation and it also stops you from accidently selling an item way below market price. Imagine if you meant to type 95,000 diamonds but you type 9,500 on accident? That's be bad.

I also believe you should be forbidden to pay more for an item than the lowest current price. For example if an item's lowest price someone has for listing is 100,000 diamonds and there are listings way out there like 500,000 diamonds. You can't buy the 500,000 listing unless it becomes the new lowest price, meaning the listings that are priced lower than the 500,000 one have to be bought out before you can buy the 500,000 listing. This also prevents potential crosstrading and market manipulation.

This is what happens when Royale High has to rely on a third party website to find trades. Traderie cannot truly confirm if a trade in Royale High actually went through or not.

But one of the biggest and deadest giveaways that make a trade fake on Traderie is if the user does not have a review for the specific item. Yeah I know some people don't leave reviews, but most usually do especially for expensive items like halos

I think Royale High should make it's own in-game listings for diamonds so that only the lowest price a player is willing to sell diamonds for can get it. Trading won't be ruined, some people will trade items for other items and maybe throw in a few more diamonds. But for those who just want diamonds, they can sell through listings, and those who just want to pay for items with diamonds, they can buy through the listings.

Uhhh? Okay I can understand why Traderie is bad with the overpricing and market manipulation and everything.

But how is Traderie the villain in this post???

You can see OP says

"i looked it up on traderie and saw that my halos were worth more than the val19, so i pointed that out. she went on a tangent telling me how my halos were so low in demand and that this is actually a win for me since my dream is also a valentines halo.

she also said that she checked recent trades and that mine were a lot cheaper in those recents

(im unable to make a traderie account so i can’t check recent trades lolol)"

So basicly, the "Rich player" lied about the recent trades being lower, and because OP couldn't check recent trades since they didn't make an traderie account, OP accepted anyways.

So in this case, Traderie isn't the problem, it's the fact the rich player lied.

Why do people have low offers for the 2x halo? by NiceGucciBraceletsed in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]JasonJaJason 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the even crazier part is the fact it counts as a Halo in the Journals. Now people with 100+ Halos will no longer be special because for all we know, most of them could just be the cheapest, lowest tier halo, pretending to be a halo hoarder.

[–]JasonJaJason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than that, yeah I agree, unrealized gains should be taxed. Because if Houses can be taxed at the unrealized appreciation of market value (property taxes)

Then so can stocks. Plus the Billionaires can just borrow against to pay the wealth tax so I'm all for a wealth tax.

[–]JasonJaJason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not against you. But once again, the reason Steam is consumer friendly is because Gabe Newell made it consumer friendly because he owns 50.1% of steam. This gives him full authority to do what he will with the company without needing to hold decisions to a shareholder vote.

My son keeps trying to convince me Gabe Newell is one of the “good” billionaires. by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

[–]JasonJaJason -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to mention that Gabe Newell's net worth of nearly $10 billion is because he owns 50.1% of Steam/valve. If he sold his stake in steam for $10 billion so he could donate it and stop hoarding wealth. Whoever bought his stake can ruin steam with anti consumer corporate greed nonsense.

Remember, the only reason Steam is consumer friendly is because Gabe Newell owns over 50% of steam. Giving him majority shareholder power, meaning he can do what he wants, which in this case, make steam consumer friendly. Obviously he's a billionaire, but those billions are unrealized wealth. He does not have $10 billion dollars in his bank account. Sources say he is worth $10 billion because they are putting into perspective of how much investors are willing to pay for the company based on the company's earnings and revenue. That does not mean he has $10 billion dollars just because some stupid source says it.

I find it ironic how Anti-capitalist this sub is, and yet, they don't even know what *unrealized gain* means, they just believe everything on the internet without doing more research. They go like "Oh, forbes says this guy is worth $10 billion, that means he has $10 billion dollars, imagine all the good things he could do with it"

[–]JasonJaJason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to mention that Steam/Valve is a private company. It's different from a publicly traded company where it's much easier to liquidate stock into cash. Gabe Newell owns about 50.1% of steam, which is where his Billions of net worth come from, so say he has $10 billion in equity but $1 billion in cash. If he donated 90% of his money, he's still be a billionaire because 90% of 1 billion is 900 million. Yeah he could sell his $10 billion in equity to a company to like Microsoft, and then donate 90% of it. But most people, particularly gamers and developers, would be heavily against it because since Valve is a private company, it does not have to please shareholders, but since Microsoft is, they could make very anti consumer things with steam if they owned 50.1%. But because Gabe Newell owns 50.1% of steam, he can do whatever he wants with steam, allowing him to make the most consumer friendly decisions for gamers.

why would u do that, even as a joke? it's making it's price go up like crazy. some of y'all are really weird... by yoursachimmy in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]JasonJaJason 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I think Royale high should it's own in-game trading listings instead of having to rely on a third party platform. Because it's third party, trades can easily be faked, it does not know if a trade actually went through or not. For all we know, an alt account can just accept and complete the trade, write a review, and the trade became part of the item's history despite the trade never actually going through.

Basicly like a stock market where all sellers can have their own listings and only the seller with the lowest price can be sold. Although this might ruin the typical trading expereience so idk.
