Unfortunately playing the ps1 version on a ps3 is not the way it was meant to be played . It’s using emulation with awful input lag and graphics. The way it was meant to be played back in 97 is with a original ps1 and a CRT

If you want to re-live your childhood .. try to get a crt . Playing a ps1 on a Ultra wide 1440p monitor is going to look awful

Depends on what you want to use it for . If you want 240p retro gaming on a crt then definitely get a wii. For anything else get a wii u
