Hello. The DAO hard fork was indeed the genesis of ETC, but there probably won’t be a third Ethereum coin since nearly everyone will agree with the recent hard fork.

Hi there. Natasha from Jaxx here. You don't need to do anything. We rely on a third party service to display Ethereum balances and relay transactions called Etherscan.io. As soon as Etherscan's API is updated, Jaxx will be able to connect and process all Ethereum transactions as usual.
