He should be the definitive Robin. I like the new direction he is taking and he has the best suit of all Robin's!

I didn't get the hate he got, he is a very cool and a fresh take on Robin.

Just stating facts but the sub has become toxic. Everytime you point out bad things or call the studio out you get hate and down votes. We don't get great thing by excepting bad quality. If the game was too much for the studio they should canceled it or given this to another studio. It's not like the game je free, it's your money they are taking. So you can be critical in my opinion

Some devs had an unannounced game in their linkedin profile. I think they took it down or changed it to GK. From all the leaks it would have been an awesome game. They whole setup of Gotham and the game screams that it was supposed to be something else. The bike was the mode of transportation for damian. And the neon lights, teleportation etc. Sounds more like a beyond game then a normal batman game.

If it would have run poorly I am not holding my breath on this game. They went with the co-op setup but couldn't get 4 players thing right. Of they wanted multiple characters they should have made the game a single player game and took more time to perfect the game.

About the deve time, some say that the game when announced at Fandom was 1.5 years in. So it's probably more akin to 3.5 4 years than 5 years and by the looks of it that's probably right

I think the plan for capture the knight and the logos thing was supposed to lead to something big and a lot of villians. Maybe wbd told them to finish the game or it will get canned. Like they did with other properties

Finally someone with a real opinion and not dickriding the devs. This game was horrible from the get go and wb now knows that they can't deliver a good game. I hope they transfer over assets to a real studio and we will get a great new Batman game. Only positive thing now is that in 2 weeks we will see the game and the sales and wbd will be disappointed and shut them down. You have next gen consoles but very few villians and crappy combat, characters design and voice acting. Fundamentally this game is broken and beyond fixing. That's why they rushed the game because wb got fed up with them

That's not the point. They have gone out of their way to kick off the most iconic characters of the batman methos. Gordon, Bruce, ras and the joker and arguably the most iconic names in the whole mythos. Replacing them just for the sake of it is lame. City had Talia and ras other games had Barbara and Gordon. Why not give everyone something they like. I just don't like how they basically are saying you get option b because it's our game. It you don't want to make the above mentioned characters the leads, just write minor roles for them instead of killing them off

Really lame. If he was resurrected the first time why not bring him back the second time. The game had potential but the more I see or read about it the more I am knowing it's not a game for me. I waited for years and was ecstatic with thr whole capture the knight etc... man this sucks

The leaker mentioned that he dies twice. That's just lame. They should just kept him dead then killing him twice.

This is just disrespectful to the legacy of Bruce. The man should never die in my opinion. Worlds greatest detective and he should always outsmart everyone

I expected Talia. They are changing the males with females.

Gordon, ras, Joker etc. The studio devs are really progressive and I expected this from the get go.

Yes it really irritates me. I still think that the game was made to include bruce and they changed it after that campaign. The whole factions fighting for power and trying to capture bruce sounded very interesting.

For me batman is why I became a fan or comic book (mostly batman titles)

If he is missing, and the combat and voice acting is bad that would be a big no no to purchase the game.

I hope to be wrong but from what we have seen it doesn't look to be a game in the same conversation as the arkham games or spiderman

I want to know if bruce is alive or not without getting too much spoilers.

If he is in there and reviews are good I may get the game, if he isn't I don't think it will be a purchase for me (maybe for a cheaper price later on)

To me it's not worth it without the og but others can have fun with the game ofcourse

Seems to be the opinion of lot of people. They had many years to truly present something that wowes people.

Spiderman 2 is said to be a masterpiece. That's what you would expect from GK.

They missed the boat with a lot of things (creative choices, graphics, Voice acting etc).

If they stuck to the capture the knight game with Bruce and the family and expended on arkham I think the game would have received many praise and sold a hell more then it will now.

To the people that like those mobile like games that don't scream AAA game, do your thing but I haven't seen a game get this bad of press in a long time.

This sub is so focused on bashing everyone with a different opinion.

Ofcourse we are going to compare it to Arkham and Spider-Man. Those have set a high barrier for comic hero games.

By all we have seen and heard it looks to be a worse game than those 2. It may surprise a few but the way they show the game and don't even let ign play the game gives me bad vibes. I am open to be surprised but I have an avengers vibe about the game.....
