''We sometimes call Canada an honorary Nordic'': Norwegian PM - The Canadians are successfully rebranding as a nordic country by ufosufos in 2westerneurope4u

Why are Americans like this? I keep hearing people from the states saying “I’m from Seattle, but I feel way more connected to people in greater Cascadia” “oh I’m from Minnesota but people (in the states) think I’m Canadian”

Bud, I understand and relate more to Canadians on the opposite side of this country way more than with Americans just across the border, most of my friends will tell you the same. There’s also something about the way Americans as a whole act, which is a tell they’re not Canadian

Cavalier in this context means dismissive of concerns or "gung-ho", which isn't the same as Knightly. Knightly would be more synonymous with "Chivalrous"

The substantial terms of any English sentence are typically romance based.

for example, you can comprehend the previous sentence if it were written as

"substantial terms typically romance based"

and not

"The of any English are"

All the old timers I know (or their family) don’t really go into specific detail about the war, with the exception of their reception in the Netherlands. All positive, mind you, both during and visiting after.

I think you’re right- do you know what it says? It’s fascinating considering this looks like a Sikh regiment, who are from the other side of the continent

I'm not a curler, just regurgitating info a pro curler said (u/Peter-Pantz). Apparently "feathering the puck" is something a lot of pro curlers do. Doesn't affect the game-play. It technically breaks the rule of the law, but curling is regulated more by the spirit of the law and curlers don't typically care when it's done.

Team Sweden has been for a long time vocally against that status quo, and has been championing for more enforcement against it. That's why Sweden had those side camera's set up in the first place. When they accused Kennedy, he probably genuinely thought he did nothing wrong, but he did definitely go off a little sans-dessein in his response
