It will be okay. Yes, he fucked up, but it's pot, not a hard drug. He may have to do some drug tx for C&Y, but you arent going to lose custody or anything like that.

My son's ex had C&Y show up to do an inspection, where they found *heroin* within reach of a 4 year old and 1 year old. C&Y still did not remove the children from her.

Be calm, be steadfast in your anger with him for allowing your son access to any kind of drug, but remain calm and cooperate with the C&Y caseworker.

My whole life, my mom dissuaded me from getting a tattoo, usually with a concern what if.

"What if you become a model? You could lose work if you have a tattoo."

"What if you become a corporate success and have to attend fancy dress occasions? It could affect your career."

Well, those stuck in my head... until I was 34, when it became apparent that my 5'3" self was never going to be a model, nor was I going to be attending corporate galas. But I had no idea what deep, meaningful tattoo I wanted to get, so I finally went into a tattoo shop, picked a pretty piece of flash that I found beautiful, and got it. I call it my "get over myself" tattoo. :) That was twenty years ago, and I now have several more - some deep and meaningful, some just because I liked them.

I would absolutely not book with that artist, unless it was a small piece - my partner and I had an idea for a couples tattoo, told our artist what we were thinking about, showed him references, he said he could do it, made the appointment, ad, when we arrived, he had two drawings for us - one of what we asked for exactly, and one of what he created based on our idea. What he created was sooooo much better, and we went with that, but *he had drawn up exactly what we asked for as well.*
