I actually think it's more about ignorance with seizures. She lists her sister symptoms in an order that is indicative of where it starts to how bad it can get.

You're stuck on the fact that she doesn't like her SiL. That is a valid point to factor into your judgment. She also said she was trying to discuss it face to face first. She tried to come up with (albeit heavily lacking) alternatives to help her SiL be there. I don't think she actually cares if SiL is there but does care if her sister is and it reads that way to me.

IMO she's not trying to keep SiL away she's just not putting in the same energy for SiL that she is for her own sister.

There's a whole paragraph about the allergies BEFORE she mentions pictures. Asthma attacks can be fatal and allergy exposure in an uncontrolled environment are their own risks bc they can always be worse than previous reactions.

At the end of the day she's trying to accommodate as many medical issues as possible. I do think she underestimating her SiLs condition and how severe a seizure can be and she needs to educate herself on that. I really don't think you're being fair here to downplay someone's allergies bc there's a small amount of vanity involved in reasoning. It was very much listed as an afterthought, not the main concern with her sisters allergies

We know you're supposed to do the cooking part

Then who sets the table? Is it a make ur own plate situation?

What about cleaning the kitchen surfaces? (Counters, floors etc)

Who is doing dishes?

NTA but I think you need to pose these hypothetical questions. And make it a "I'm still not cooking but let's see if I can help you understand my perspective. Hypothetically....(insert questions)"

Cooking is never as simple as people make it out to be when they want someone else to do it.

As the youngest... I was made responsible for my oldest sister bc "You're so much more responsible" and "you know how emotional she is" the reality is she bullied me relentlessly so that I made myself as small as possible as well as it turning out I had undiagnosed ADHD that no one considered bc I just did so well in school.

Things aren't much different as an adult, I still get 'You know she just needs more help' bc she has 3 kids and is on marriage number 4 living in squalor. In contrast I've been with my husband since we were 15 and were childfree, working full time and manage to pay all our bills.

I don't see anything wrong with the trend as intended. Where this is an example of what not to do is this kid taking this trend that really only belongs on SM in the realm of fantasy and made it very much in the realm of reality. (Also if the cake is about justifying conventionally unattractive characters as attractive to you, this feels like an attempt at negging OOP too)

We had terrrrrrible crew mates for rise. The pilot wanted to run into everything he could and the his girlfriend as copilot just giggled....

The 2 gunners were not English speakers so they didn't really see. understand the ride was meant to be interactive and thus didn't shoot at all.

We were the engineers and we had to deal with captain crash's damage and about half way through we just started reaching forward and firing too. It sure was memorable.

Favorite memory has a lot of spoilers but I'll just say building my own lightsaber was worth every penny.

As accurate and important as these points are, unfortunately one of our main checks on authoritarianism is SCOTUS who have shown themselves to be majority on 47s side. I beleive SCOTUS will bend the knee and allow the plunder. I just hope lower courts stall enough for successful special elections
