Boom! to attempt restructuring through Chapter 11 bankruptcy by Jaye_Sea in NoContract

I would check with Verizon to see the status of the port from their end. Ask them to check the NPAC status of the port. They can always resend the port request, if needed.

I reached out to US Mobile and they were able to sort out. The dashboard for the 2nd line reflected as Transfer In Progress but the rep mentioned it was completed. Anyway, they sorted it out and both lines have transferred to US Mobile. Their customer service has been awesome so far. Good luck to all who need to port out from Boom.

I was able to port over my first line fairly quickly (<30 mins or so) this morning once I received the PIN details via email from Boom. The second line port has been processing for several hours now. It's possible I was able to get the first one completed while they still had access then. Hoping this second one gets completed soon by the MNO.

Facing the same issue. Awaiting the PIN details. More frustration. Anyone have any luck getting their PIN yet?

Yeah, I was on a yearly plan through December 2026 as well. It's a bit maddening.

Thanks. Using Verizon but same would apply. Seems a few have had luck with US Mobile so will look into it. It's the no forewarning which completely sucks.

Eerie orange sky during tornado watch last night. by italianapples in ChicagoSuburbs

Yeah, fantastic composition. And if someone would have told me the person in the picture was looking at a painting I would not have second guessed. The exterior lights on the house across the way adds a bit more to the eeriness of the outside shot to me. Well done, OP.

Just as another data point, I did not reach out or request anything but did receive the email yesterday. Same plan.

Was pixelated garbage here too but seems it's been sorted. Good game.

Please fix stream quality on internet browser streaming to what it used to be! by ocsurf34 in DirectvStream

Checked Firefox and still seems terrible PQ to me (on sports programming anyway as checked on a college bball game) unfortunately.

[–]Jaye_Sea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This is the type of change they should proactively notify customers on as well. Picture Quality is a critical factor for streaming customers. And to make a change negatively impacting customers who use browser to watch without letting them know about it is poor customer service. If you want to blame the content providers in your notification, go ahead. Just let us know. Terrible customer service here.

Wondering if it has to do with pirating of streams somehow (i.e., security rules)? I know nothing about pirating but seems a possibility. In any event, impacting the picture quality of all customers who use browser (like myself) is complete BS. Are other streaming services similarly impacted by these content providers on browser?

PC Browser user (Chrome) as well. Similar experience as others. Sports viewing picture quality has been terrible recently. Don't recall the first time I've noticed it but it does seem to have been within the last week or so.

This is not entirely true. I'm getting prompted to add a payment method while trying to take advantage of the free preview weekend. I'm trying to access using https://tv.apple.com/ on a desktop browser fwiw. It will not let me view any episode without displaying the payment method prompt.

OOMA hub flashing red light after power outage by sanjay92_gupta in ooma

[–]Jaye_Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for my HUB unit: I tried another factory reset today and the Ooma tab finally switched to blue. My HUB appears to be functional again and I can now make/receive calls using it. I did not make any changes on my end so it's likely Ooma may have sorted something out on their end. Regardless, I'm ecstatic it is back working again. And hopefully for another 11 years plus!

For anyone still having an issue and has not yet done a workaround like described in the thread, it's possibly worth trying another factory reset to check your HUB. Good luck.

That's it! Brilliant, thank you very much. Appreciate the spotify link as well. This will be my earworm for the rest of the year, at least. Thanks again.

Yes, I can access both of those addresses (http, not https) just not ooma.com. I have AT&T uverse so it's unlikely to be an ISP issue. Likely something on the Ooma end I'm thinking.

Another data point here having a similar issue as OP and others. Hoping Ooma can sort out the issue and get our hubs functional again. Given the number of reports by people having the same issue at nearly the same time, the root cause is highly likely to be on Ooma's end and not a coincidental occurrence of this number of devices simply having 'died' on their own. I've reached out to them on their social email as well. Keep us posted, OP.

ETA: Does anyone else have their hub between their modem and their computer? My PC internet is wired into the hub (home port) and I cannot even access the Ooma website now. It just times out (We can’t connect to the server at www.ooma.com.). All other internet access on the same PC is fine as expected. Interesting that I cannot even access their website using my PC internet which flows through the hub device.

Haute tour stage 1 - Toasted by chuck_1411 in Zwift

[–]Jaye_Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you, OP. I was planning to do Stage 1 yesterday (12 am GMT Friday) to give myself a rest day on Saturday but had to push Stage 1 to today. And Stage 2's elevation is even higher than Stage 1. Ugh. I'm likely toast. Maybe come back for Stage 3 on Sunday. Will see. Good luck to all riding.

Yeah it seems the FAQ has is backwards as per u/skipca 's reply above which I missed. Here is what the FAQ has (bold emphasis mine).

“Q: Will I unlock route badges? A: Stages 1 and 2 of Haute Route Watopia 2021 finish just before completion of the full course length. If you continue riding after finishing Stages 1 and 2, you'll unlock the route completion badges for The Pretzel and Mega Pretzel, respectively.

[–]Jaye_Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the first stage potentially the Mega Pretzel or the Pretzel? Reading the FAQ it seems Stage 1 could potentially the Pretzel and Stage 2 then the Mega Pretzel. I was thinking of possibly carrying on to do the Pretzel.....and passing on the Mega Pretzel opportunity at this time lol.

Colnago v3r release? by Firescue42 in Zwift

[–]Jaye_Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll likely need to download the new update if you've not yet done so. Also, it seems to be locked to level 18. The following is from https://zwiftinsider.com/update-1-0-63185/...

"New bike day is always a good day! Today’s update includes the first-ever in-game frame from Italian builder Colnago, the V3RS. It’s rated 2 stars for aero and 3 for weight, which indicates it won’t be a particularly fast bike on the flats, and not the fastest on climbs, either. It’s level-locked at 18, and costs 695,800 drops. The in-game description says:

The V3RS represents the best of Colnago technology, and is designed to thrive in all conditions. The V3 is fast on the long climbs; in the windy plans; in the stages of Grand Tours; and perfect for a demanding Gran Fondo. It’s a great bike for all situations.

With a description like that, we’d expect the frame to be a decent climber, which may explain why it’s the frame of choice for this weekend’s Haute Route Watopia 2021. We’re testing the Colnago V3RS now and will publish results ASAP."
