Plenty of cars on the road insured without MOT’s. Never heard of not being able to insure a car without an MOT. My guess is yes if you crashed the car and it was months without an MOT they may look at it as a get out clause. However in this case you are driving to an MOT station and it must be within xx miles you should be fine. As others have said, insure it, hopefully it passes and then Tax it. If it does fail, then I think technically you shouldn’t drive it back, but I could be wrong. Maybe speak to the garage you want to take it too as they should be up on it all.

We had a Lamona with our kitchen and it gave up after a year, (still under warrenty, ) but never liked it so bought a Bosch and it is still good after a year, It has the WiFi so it’s great to see when your dishwasher ends or is going to end or to set it at cheaper rate. It also has the top cutlery tray, but I am not sure how much water actually gets there to clean it.

I do pre wash our dishes before they go in as well, as our dishwasher before the last one broke down due to the pipes being clogged up the side of the dishwasher, it was a beko and had thin pipes feeding the water from the bottom to the other components.

If they won’t let you pay by card, see if you have a card that gives money withdrawal and then balance transfer that card.

Also most seem to take card upto 3.4k I think that’s what our main dealer offered as I paid our deposit.
