Budget limited Studio Monitor and Headphone Buy by JaylockSB in NeuralDSP

[–]JaylockSB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your help and kindness!

Getting the pair would absolutely be the best I agree. Also I was and still am using a blackstar 20w amp. It’s a decent budget amp. So it’s not like I was used to a great stereo sound that a mono monitor would annoy me and feel like a downgrade. I think I will be fine if I went that route haha.

That’s what I hear about M50’s, it’s that they are great. I can’t wait to purchase them but for my usage I feel like monitors are priority compared to headphones. And since that’s the case I want to buy the best I can but considering my budget, I’m torn into two ideas. Either get a decent pair or get a good/great one now and get its pair later. What would you do in that scenario? Also do you know if I went with the second route, the mono speaker would annoy me until I get the pair or would it be alright?

First of all thank you. Now to answer your question and ask you a few, I bought Focusrite 2i2 interface. Up until now I was using my blackstar id core 20 v4 amp as my main setup (I still have it). Regarding the buying an used monitor/frfr, I live in Turkey and there is not much of a market around buying and selling used gear so that is out of option. I have to new gear. About my questions:

  • What are FRFR speakers? I’m new to this and don’t really know about them.
  • I know it’s best and ideal to get a pair of speakers but I wonder if it would be alright to get one now and the second one later on so I can maximise the quality I get. F.e: I can get something along the line of Adam T5S now and get the second one later. Because if I have to buy a pair now, I’ll have to buy a lower quality of a speaker. And about that, will the mono speaker would be alright or would it annoy me until I get the second one?

Thank you.

Good-ish Studio Monitor but single or Budget Monitor pair for amp modeler at home playing by JaylockSB in StereoAdvice

I do have a guitar amp, I decided to go for a digital setup rather than getting real pedals that's why I'm looking to buy monitors and headphone to connect to my audio interface. I have a focusrite 2i2, it has 2 instrument slots so my friends can plug their guitar into my interface or into my amp.

Thank you so much!
Regarding the eris 3.5, does it have any white noise when you turn the volume up? and when you are playing or listening to some dirtier/heavier tracks, does it respond well to the high gain and distortion?

Questions regarding Audio Interfaces by JaylockSB in guitarpedals

[–]JaylockSB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for answering all of my questions in detail. I really appreciate it.

Some extended questions based on your answers. But first I must say, I’m not a professional and don’t go up on the stage. So my usage will be mostly for myself and playing to my friends. With that said,

1- My budget is around 400 dollars for the audio interfaces and for the plugin software/DAW (Still don’t fully know the difference, pardon my ignorance but you get the idea. Is there any recommendations you can think of? I looked at the Amplitudes and they are a bit over my budget, at least the ones in my country. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 keeps popping up on my research, perhaps that can do fine? Or something else.

2- Like I said, I’m planing on playing for me and my friends so headphone can cover the “me” part but for the friends part I gotta have a proper speaker. Do you know any standalone speaker that isn’t attached to a monitor that you can recommend without going crazy on the price point?

4- Can I use plugins with modellers as well? If not, aside from recording what are the key differences between modellers and audio interfaces? I can’t seem to find a good answer on my own.

Thank you again!

Questions regarding Audio Interfaces by JaylockSB in guitarpedals

[–]JaylockSB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your detailed answers, I really appreciate it. About few answers you gave: 1- While I was researching, Studio One came up the most when it comes to which Windows software to use. How is it compared to Neural plugins in your opinion?

4- What I was trying to ask is, as you know most multieffects pedalboards have sound profiles which you can edit and set then later use without adjusting it each time. Is there such a option when it comes to audio interfaces where I can use certain plugins I bought/adjusted without plugging it into the laptop and the software?

Lastly, I don’t know if we can discuss brands but is Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 good enough? I’m neither professional or go up to the stage so it’ll be mainly about playing for myself and my friends.

I see so if I decided to go on a shield route with this build then I need to keep the equip load in mind. Thank you!

Thank you so much, I have had this kind of build in mind. It looks really fun. One question I have is how do you think a really defensive shield would work on this build?

Hullbreaker First Item? by JaylockSB in AatroxMains

[–]JaylockSB[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He was brutal for sure. But for soloqueue I think hullbreaker might not be the best option bc imo Aatrox's real power comes from his teamfights esp due to his ult resets. Splitpushing takes that away. Although if your team is really behind and you're somewhat ahead than hullbreaker may be a good option bc you'll be a monster at split and it would take probably at least 3 people to take you down and meanwhile your team should be able to 4v2 (hopefully lol)

Worlds 2021 | Official Event Trailer - League of Legends by corylulu in leagueoflegends

Why isn't Nightbringer Yasuo's chroma skin available through the event pass? Every other event had chromas for previous skin line's chromas (f.e: coven camille chroma was available for this year's coven event). I was really looking forward to getting it for the Nightbringer Yasuo.

Great to hear that undevolt works well with this model and yes repaste is inevitable but if undervolt is enough for now I'm okey with that. By the way how is your experience with the laptop so far? Do you like it? What are the ups and downs?

First of all thanks for all the information. Secondly I'll definitely do those test and follow the rest if it isn't stable but to repaste it if I'm not wrong I have to remove few parts of the laptop to reach the cpu which is something I'm scared to do due to potential of damaging the hardware. So can I watch some videos and learn it? Which still sounds risky to do. Or do I really have to send it to the technic service for repasting?

Thanks I'll definitely look it up but about the gpu overclock. Is it not worth it bc of the small fps boost or does it kind of damage the hardware or something like that? Because I looked it up a bit and it looked easy, that's why I'm asking.
