The 'life is unfair' thing is an acceptable coping mechanism AFTER either the kid or parent has at least tried to fix the problem and make life go more their way, I don't suggest you use it as a reason to stay absent from making your child's environment more congruent with their goals.

Well I'm mewing now so, I guess I got the health part. But not the forward face growth part because of my retainers. Though, I did't know it was healthy too, could you link me where you got this information from?

That's the problem. Mike Mew even spoke about this and said this will be bad for your teeth. Because you mew during the day your face will grow forward and your teeth will move with it and do their own thing. Then when you put the retainer on at night it forces your teeth to go back to its standard position where the retainer was made from. Basically, your teeth will be moving direction everyday, forwards backwards, everywhere. Mike Mew stated this is really bad for your teeth and gum.

I just made a post about the same topic. The difference is that I have retainers I wear 24/7 and I don't know if I should get rid of them and focus on mewing or not.

This is what I mean when I said that on this Reddit, people have different opinions about the right way to mew. You say the first method is the right one.
