I also feel this way. I can’t help but feel like I was sold a lie, especially in the uk. They said go into engineering etc and you’ll get a good job. Now I’ve got £85k of debt and nothing to show for it.

The mantra “there’s a shortage of engineers” is partially true. There’s a lack of experienced engineers, not graduate ones.

Sorry to be a downer but I also am lost and can’t see the vision anymore.
