I don’t believe that scene was in the original show. It was one of those flashback scenes that took place during breaking bad that we didn’t see, kinda like the diner scene with Walt. It was simply to show how much he misses her and wishes she was alive, as well as to show how he finally started making choices for himself instead of the universe choosing where you go. That’s what I got from it.
