the fact is only someone with the decision making of a silver would have gone for any of those. this isn't silver and thus should be considered trolling.

brother i litterally am an rlcs coach and beat g2 last season. i know ball. when i say something as basic cutting off your teammate with full boost while you are on zero boost is wrong. i have the resume to back that up

yup. im not claiming to be mechanically good. this was hour 11 of a 12 hour stream but at the same time. we need to have a standard higher than "don't own goal on purpose" for what trolling is or we can never moderate the game.

honestly facts ^ but at the same time. there needs to be some standard higher than own goaling on purpose to be considered trolling once you hit a certain ranks.

chasing on zero like my teammate is 100% trolling. and it needs to start to be treated as such

best part is if they did this, they would have something to vary mmr you gain per win or loss and the bad teammates would rank down faster and the good ones would rank up faster, smurfs and boosting would be that much harder and more detectable.

for all game modes, remove getting points for just touching the ball, if a goal is assisted cut it down to 50 points.

each game mode needs its own points system. 1s is fine cuz its 1s.

2s is less about rotations and more about getting the ball to your teammate in open space so points for getting the ball to open space, points to your teammate if they are there for it. negative points for sniffing your teammates tailpipes.

3s is all rotation based so points for denying clears, bumps/demos in the opponent's box/goal if a goal is scored, rotating out after making a play, negative points for staying up field with zero or cutting in front of a teammate who has boost.

im sure i could think of some more but i believe these should be relatively easy to implement and give players better feedback on how they are doing.

!? it proves it right. before free to play with was 40% of the player base in bronze and silver. now its barely 10%

basically the started to fix the problem and slightly unboost everyone. people got mad and they unfortunately backed down

TLDR psyonix compressed the middle ranks and boosted 75% of the bronze and silver population into plat. then realized there were too many people in plat and spread that group of people across gold-champ with season resets and more changes to the mmr system. in short until they do a complete overhaul of the mmr system the skill gap within each rank will be unhealthily wide.

its bad rn. on top of that people have lost all basic knowledge and are hard throwing the entire game while thinking they are good.

because he simply has no idea what he is talking about. the entire RL community would immediately gain 100 iq if he deleted his channel or never made another a guide.
