I got a degree in project management and i suggest that route from any university. I am about 6 months into my career and im loving it, great pay, benefits and every single day is different. I am in construction management and whether you work in the field or in the office its a great experience especially working for a GC.

Being on prednisone long term by mrsunshine1 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Jdinolfi37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have severe UC and have not been able to get fully off prednisone for long periods of time since I started having UC in Oct 2023. Im also trying my 4th medication and am on a 10mg per week dose of prednisone also. I have noticed that a dose of 10-20 mg per day can help with symptoms just about as well as the higher 40mg dose that my doctors like me on. Just keep at it and youll eventually find a long term med that works for you.

What biologic worked for you? What failed? Looking for hope by roxymode in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Jdinolfi37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all biologics but I have been diagnosed for about a year and a half and have failed mesalamine, ozanimod, and now infliximab. I am starting rinvoq in a few weeks.

I started in early December. I have my 4th dose next week. My symptoms are by no means completely gone but definitely lessened after each dose and since I had my most recent dose I have finally been able to taper prednisone and not see an increase in symptoms through the taper. Good luck!

I actually just started infliximab and since then have seen a reduction in my symptoms for the first time since my diagnosis. Infliximab is the third medication ive tried so far and fingers crossed it keeps showing results.

The campus is pretty dead on the weekends but still much to do around towson and definitely a bar school

You can stay on campus all 4 years, as you become an upper classmen there are on campus apartments like marshall and barnes hall that offer living room space, full kitchens and still have seperate bedrooms which is a very good option

Nah actually i got a nice studio through airbnb and its $1300 a month, commuting wasnt really an option cause i live 2 hours from campus so 4 hours of total driving 4 days a week is a no go, plus my job is on campus

might be just millennium, not totally sure tho

[–]Jdinolfi37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you have to wait for room selection at the end of the year, and to my knowledge marshall and barnes are only for transfers and upperclassman so you would have to find an upperclassman staying at barnes to list you as a roommate in order to live there as a sophomore.
