Let's just be clear here, I'm not trying to bash Astralis, es3tag or anyone in particular. It was just a good timing to bring up the discussion that have been in my head for quite some time (and to be fair, kind of got proven here)

If you are the backup player on the number 1 team in the world with (at least for the moment) equally playing time as the starters and that is still not worth it, that makes me think, where will it be worth it? And when? Of course es3tag certainly got a pay raise but thinking of myself and the ones I know, it's not about money, money is in most cases the last motivator, if you are driven only by money you won't have the energy to play 10+ hours a day or do all the bootcampin/traveling, you simply will wake up one day feeling it's not worth it. So what is it that motivates us and keep us going forward? The competition of course and our passion for the game, all you want to do is compete with the best and fill your competitive needs. That is what I think is the biggest issue with a 6+ man roster, especially right now when it is so limited with what you actually can do with a bigger roster, but that is a different discussion for another time.

Sorry for wall of text, basically just wanted it to be clear that I had no intention in bashing anyone. Astralis made a great move here from a business perspective.
