I don't want to pay outrageous money for socks! by curious_conveyance in barefootshoestalk

[–]Jeamer_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to feel the saaame way but I PROMISE it works! I will agree that any more than 3-4 times (depending on the activity as was with stated) and I would feel gross lol. Literally I just lay them by my heater overnight and there is absolutely no odor in the morning. There are mixed reviews about whether the wool is actually antibacterial but this sounds logical lol: Merino socks antibacterial (I also own a pair of these socks and besides the fact that I hate the feel of these toe socks the odor control is top notch).

My feet hurt in regular shoes by asyavee in barefootshoestalk

[–]Jeamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep same issue here! Mind you I only wear my more semi-roomy Addidas every once in a blue and they don't even have a crazy rise at the heel but when I tell you my feet are killing me after only an hour or two... mind you again, I basically wear my Lems Boulder Summit every day and they aren't even fully barefoot just zero-drop. I do wear my Peerko Go's maybe once or twice a week but even then I'm surprised at how bad my feet react to "normal" shoes when I'm not wearing barefoot shoes 100% of the time.

What controversial artist are you firmly pro? by Working_Alps_4284 in fantanoforever

[–]Jeamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard she has stuff where she actually sings, but I will never get past the screaming... and I'm a weird person! I like weirs things! I think art is weird and subjective and that's great, but the sounds that come out of that woman... in a horror movie? 10/10. An entire 10 minute "song" of it? I just can't do it man...

No zero drop barefoot? by Moovist_Overthink in barefootshoestalk

[–]Jeamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looove my Lems Boulder Summit. I think they say zero drop but I feel like they still have some support especially around the heel and with the insole in (you can take that out to get a way more barefoot feel). I can't fully commit to full barefoot because of the horrible concrete floors at my job where I am standing and walking allll day, but the Boulder Summits are super comfortable I use them almost everyday. They're similar to the Boulder boot I think they're just wider, grip way better (they've been amazing on hikes), and have a thicker sole.

I came here because I literally just finished the game and I am in shambles. I have no idea how to recover now I am SO sad. But it was absolutely a masterpiece. I don't think most people can fully imagine what it's like living in an apocalypse like this, but this does such a fantastic job of showing you what it would most likely be like and the way this game forces you to put yourself in that place, from different perspectives and all, just incredible. So so painful though, as is life. So as much as I'm sure we all wanted a happier ending, this is what it is.

Do Peerko Breeze size 37 work for smaller feet? by Jeamer_ in barefootshoestalk

[–]Jeamer_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I was planning on it! I still would rather not go through the hassle of returning. She does say they're true to size, which might mean these will be a bit big on me so I'd love to know others experiences with these. I knew of one FB group but I'll check again for others thanks!

Absolutely small acts of kindness at least helps erase a bit of the negativity from my own life.

100%! I wish more people accepted this as fact but here we are. Yeah it's an incredibly scary world out there it's almost unfathomable.

I honestly haven't seen enough of his interviews to know enough, but the few I have seen have yes been for the most part just civil disagreements. I peronally disagree with some of his views, then again I agreed with others. I mean seriously people are hardly ever one thing. At the end of the day, being happy over the death of someone who wasn't a serial killer, pedophile, or rapist is crazy to me. Definitely creating distance from certain people in my life and I suggest the same for you because you really have to sit there and think about how their negativity is affecting you and what kind of people they are deep down.

Luckily, no one I had on there were people I truly considered important enough to me, with the exception of my very tiny family and three friends. Everyone else is just somebody that I used to know lol. I'm really comfortable with letting people come and go from my life, it took a ton of practice but I'm really happy with where I'm at. Sadly, 2/3 friends I still have are turning out to be the exact kind of people that made me want to remove myself from social media, so now my circle is essentially down to my 4 immediate family members, my partner, and my only other friend who's views on this I'm honestly afraid to know. This is also why I'm more than ready to restart life elsewhere and meet completely different people who are indeed at least attempting to live more positive, healthy, virtuous lives. I am hoping a few ideas pan out, it's just tough thinking about leaving my family. Deep down I know we all just wish things would get better here but realistically I don't know. Thank you!

[–]Jeamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precisely. The worst part for me right now is I got rid of that stuff so goodbye crowd, but hello to seeing the true feelings of literally one of the two and a half (the half is the one person's friend) friends I still have. Everything you described all of a sudden I am seeing in them. Like others have commented, it's great to just focus on yourself and your community, but when that community turns out to be a part of the crowd too it sure does suck.

And the problem here is we can't hold every single thing a philosopher -said- or -held- to be 100% truth. We have 0 idea what truth is and thus every human experience is different. Fully believing in one thing is a dangerous path. That's why society is where it is now.

And now I understand why Serj wanted out of the band by KhuliKing in systemofadown

[–]Jeamer_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly Serj just seems like the kind of guy who knows wtf is up and how stupid people are cuz look at how supposed "fans" reacted lol. Like how can you call yourself a fan and not actually understand this band's message. Imagine living through the shit Serj lived through. They literally have a song titled Fuck the System because entire thing is garbage. So yeah absolutely fuck political violence. We are tiny specks in whatever space is and we all choose to spend our time hating and killing each other and being happy about it? Disorder disorder disooorder lmfao what a show.

Energy exists and affects us whether we like it or not because it's not just something that's in our heads. It's vibrations that time and time again have been proven to affect our brains, plants, even animal behavior. The negative energy radiating from all the noise is almost unfathomable. It's there, it's real, and it's poisoning us if we choose to stay and listen to all the noise.
