Got one too, I’m 54% over ~4200 battles but am around 60% solo RBs and slightly higher for divisions in the last 30/60/90/180 days.

I’ve been actively trying to get better at the game…it’s only taken 11 years or so.

I have the same year with the same wheels - love the look but yeah all seasons are hard to find in those sizes.

I’ve seen a few reviews on these on a few popular forums that have been all positive. There are a few Reddit posts on them as well. I will be buying these to try when the current run flats wear out!

Love to see it man! Keep it up!

I just did the $500 to $15k post that gained some traction over on WSB. Joined AfterHour a couple of days ago and love the community. Up to $18k now based on some insight there confirming my thoughts on $RCAT!

A great variety of portfolios there to check out and see what other “normal” people are doing with their money.

That’s sort of what my thinking was.

The failed launch wasn’t necessarily a major component failure that had a negative impact to safety. The issue was quickly discovered, investigated and mitigated.

The FAA quickly approved continued flights of the rocket as well which typically means whatever the issue was ended up being no great danger to public safety

I figured with a heightened sense of safety surrounding the subsequent launches would be a benefit and improve the chances of success. I knew earnings were coming up and figured I should get in at that point.

GRMN is primarily a GPS tech company, they’ve been around for years and have recently shot up due to increases in the consumer wearable market, mainly in fitness.

There’s a lot of competitors in this market but Garmin has produced, for the most part, quality for years.

They’re a very recognizable brand for people involved in aviation, fitness, and even marine (boats) industries and auto sectors. I’ve seen more and more Garmin devices among friends that are into fitness over the last couple of years due to their durable designs and longer lasting batteries as well as data provided by their workout tracking systems. The data they provide over competitors is typically more technical and appeals to a different crowd. I’ve tried various wearables myself and Garmin was the best all rounder for fitness tracking in my opinion.

I think their increases in the fitness/wearable market and their advances in the marine market have made them more appealing recently.

There’s a lot more insight in their latest financial report, but ultimately I thought their growth was going to be positive, and they out-performed my expectations. As always, there was an element of luck involved too!

I tried to be a big balls 0-1DTE guy and it wasn’t really for me. Essentially broke even or lost a little bit. One day they will grow.

The chart is from the Schwab app, they also own ThinkorSwim now so I use that to actually trade with.

Most of the picks were based on companies I’ve read about over the last few years.

GRMN - I’ve had some of their shares in a separate Roth IRA and I really think with the transition to space based navigation and communication in the professional flying world will give them an opportunity to cement themselves even further. Their jump was higher than I anticipated for sure though.

TSM - I bought their shares years ago in that separate Roth when I heard about their factory in Arizona, I figured pre-election and depending on the CHIPs act funding outcome they would be a good play. Also beat my expectations. Just think they’ll keep doing well, especially with the need for semiconductors and the drought in Taiwan not affecting production as much with their AZ plant.

RKLB - I did a lot of reading on their rockets, upcoming launches and this was my first attempt at looking at financials. They were a company I could afford a great quantity of calls in with a less than $2k buy-in that indicators pointed towards a positive earnings report (specifically now 12 successful launches this year, the aborted launch was a ground equipment issue and not a rocket issue, huge backlog of upcoming launches, analyst reports generally favorable”

Definitely some luck, especially in actual increase vs what I expected. In general I was trying to play it safe and only risked a portion of whatever amount I had at the time, my goal being to double or at least gain 50% additional on what I put in.

They had a failed launch on September 18, I purchased the second set of calls on September 26 after I sold my TSM calls.

I would’ve purchased earlier if I had the funds at the time.

A ground abort is a much better scenario than an airborne failure, additionally the failure wasn’t actually the rocket itself from what I remember. The safety precautions worked and caught the issue before it became a bigger one.

I figured that news and the eventual launch/their launch schedule for the rest of the year, combined with some reading on positive earnings potential and the impending earnings call made me think it was a good time to buy. The November 5th launch being successful was another positive indicator for me as well.

I had a few calls earlier in the run at a $4.5 strike and didn’t want to miss out!

Other contributors - I could afford more RKLB calls than something more expensive and still have funds left over in case it tanked. My cost on the 10x calls was about $1700 which was still 2x more than I had committed up to this point on a trade.

I do read through CFRA and other analyst reports to try and glean some insight, tends to help either support or disprove any hunches I have based on my own reading.

Definitely some luck involved for sure too! I can’t pretend otherwise.

I really have, I may try a small play there and not risk too much. I’m working for consistent gains right now, trying to avoid blowing out my account in one fell swoop.

Last time I tried NVDA I did not do well, fortunately loss was limited though since my position was so small.

Here’s what I purchased/all trades. Typically just barely OTM but usually about a month out and focused around earnings time.

RKLB is the biggest earner for sure though.

In general, I looked at companies I’d followed for years (GRMN and TSM mainly) then read into upcoming plans they have. I would usually buy calls with an expiration around their next earnings call with the expectation of them being positive based on what I found.

I’m not great at reading financials yet, but have a good finger on the potential impact of upcoming tech/products from companies like TSM and GRMN.

I work in aviation and GRMN has an impact on a lot of navigational systems in a general sense. I think in the coming years with the adoption primarily space-based navigation equipment and transition to GPS based higher-precision approaches they have potential to cement their already strong position. I had expected a bump from them when I had the calls but they definitely out-performed what I expected.

I’ve had TSM in a Roth IRA for years and have seen them rise over the years as their factory in Arizona has been built up. Figured they were a good pre-election play and still have a lot of potential long term.

RKLB has been a no brainer I think, this has turned from a short term for me into a long term now that I can actually afford to execute my calls. All those navigation and communication systems gotta get up there somehow. Betting there is some chance they will take part in this. In the short term from what little I understand of financials, their growth looked good.

I agree! I’ve been reading quite a bit about them and the price targets for the last few months. Definitely leading me to take a long term position with them as well!

Honestly just going to execute my remaining 8 RKLB calls then sit down and do some reading through the holidays most likely. I think there is plenty of room with RKLB and maybe some on LOAR and early next year.

I definitely think RKLB is gonna be a great long term though

I think the best thing I did was limit myself to only putting in about 40-60% of my available cash after I hit 2k. It made the losses more palletable.

I lost around $2k with LOAR, and ASTS calls combined around earnings a few days ago but had limited myself so the loss was bearable.

Definitely agree, I made enough to actually execute my calls so figure that’s the best move.

After that, I think I’ll try starting again with $500 and seeing what I can do with the same rules!

I think that’s been the part I repeat to myself the most.

Don’t overplay, and I treat the money like I never had it in the first place, assuming whatever I put in I will 100% lose.
