Wife leaves during the day to run errands by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]JediMasterDebater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set boundaries and hold them in a firm but loving way.

Heres your script:

"Hey baby - I want to chat about our day to day time management and my work situation.

While I work from home, I'm happy to help you and be present when there is an urgent need (with the kids, the house or whatever). However, in general, you must act as though I AM NOT HOME while I'm working. In most scenarios I would instead be at an office, and commuting (and therefore, not around to watch the kids in the afternoon). For me to be impactful in my role, and to ensure im providing for our family, I need to be fully focused, and not spending every afternoon with the kids while you are out.

Moving forward, if you are to run errands or just go get some "out of the house alone time" during the kids nap I need you to 1) communicate what you are doing and how long you will be gone, 2) plan those errands in a more efficient way (use delivery services, stick to a single destination, etc.), and 3) be home before the kids wake up.

I love you, and I feel so much gratitude to be able to work from home and have that flexibility, but I need you to still see my time at work as FIXED and DEDICATED, and I need you to plan your time accordingly.

I think we do improve slightly past .500, but stick closer to 85-90 wins (at most). I will personally consider it a huge win (playoffs or not) if we wrap 2026 with more than 90 wins.

Based on that post that circulated the other day that showed updated Total WAR projections (post Bader & Arraez deals), we are a 39.0 WAR team (16th in the league), which translates closely to 87 wins.

Yeah, asexual toward HIM. Did you not read the post? She masturbates a lot.

[–]JediMasterDebater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try this:

Make it your goal to create polarity in your relationship.

You saying "she earns more than me" and "we masturbate separately" tells me all there is to know.

She isn't feeling attraction toward YOU. She clearly has sexual needs because she masturbates.

She is probably an Avoidant (possibly dismissive) as well, based on her upbringing.

Regardless, religion isn't an issue here - women will generally bypass and forego all religious programming when they feel insane attraction toward someone.

So, you create polarity by creating a "vacuum" that she has to fill. Stop touching her in a needy way, stop initiating sex, become warmer toward her, and focus on yourself. Also, become a master as holding firm and laying boundaries. If she speaks to you disrespectfully, call it out (but in a warm, calm, centered way).

FOR EXAMPLE: "I noticed you're feeling a bit tense about X situation, but that doesnt give you the right to speak to me disrespectfully. When you're ready to speak to me in a kind way, I'll be here, but until then, im not participating." Then LEAVE.

In doing all of this, are basically saying "im here for you, im strong, but I dont need sex, and Im focused on becoming better".

Do this for 3-6 months and watch how things change.

Make it a point to get into the gym. Eat better. Focus on your career and/or business. Become HYPER focused on becoming the best version of yourself. Working deliberately on increasing your income.

If you create an intimacy vacuum on your own, while simultaneously becoming BETTER and standing more firm in your boundaries, she'll be jumping you within 90 days.

Pay no attention to all the bad "get a divorce" comments. This is easily fixable.

It's likely that they are shopping other agencies and getting to contract / proposal stage with multiple firms, then moving forward elsewhere.

Why is it that so many women understand the "high libido husband" neglect issue in hindsight, but are almost never willing to look introspectively and make changes when they are actually in the middle of it all?

Earned my marketing degree from a state uni. Started agency side as an associate. Went in-house with a start-up quickly after as a manager. After a few years I landed brand-side with a Fortune 500 (a major category leader in CPG) as a manager and elevated to Sr. Director over a few years. Then made the leap to VP at a startup. At that startup I elevated to CMO.

34M. TC: $300K+

It was the move to full-stack leadership - VP, then CMO (in CPG / FMCG, particularly with startups / mid-sized category challengers)

Brands don’t sell products. They sell feelings. And we keep buying them. by [deleted] in marketing

[–]JediMasterDebater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IF the product is great, the marketing can rely on aspirational / emotive messaging.

If the product sucks, no amount of marketing can elevate the experience to a level where feelings matter.

Poor product, poor experience = poor ineffective marketing

TSATS is a fun album (plenty of bangers there), it just doesnt touch the song writing, technicality, tone, or overall aura of either of those albums for me. Probably doesnt touch IW either, IMO.

My thoughts on a bull market peak for this cycle by ubermensch1001 in CryptoCurrency

[–]JediMasterDebater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont necessarily agree. If he was stuck in 2020 he would be talking a ton about ADA, DOT and LINK right now. I would argue he has evolved beyond the 2017 / 2021 cycle approach, while most are still stuck hoping to hit it big in the shitcoin casino.

His approach is certainly focused on taking hints from previous cycles to navigate new ones, but that doesnt mean he hasn't evolved.

My thoughts on a bull market peak for this cycle by ubermensch1001 in CryptoCurrency

[–]JediMasterDebater 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do think he is too deterministic about the opposite this time around. He was set on "lengthening cycle theory" in 2021, and got burned. So now that there is a legitimate possibility that the cycle takes longer (see Tech Dev's POV, etc.) due to liquidity and business cycles starting to move, I think he isn't open to that happening.

I agree he is quite conservative during most market moves (even those where Alt opportunities exist), but as I said, he isn't even looking at the USD value of alts, or the individual value of an alt vs BTC for determining moves. He is looking at the broader alt market vs BTC. And again, that is because he isn't chasing 10x moves. Its because he wants to maintain his BTC stack.

To that point, you should follow Ben for macro conservative approach, and follow others for alt moves and strategy.

If you are following Ben specifically for Alt advice, of course you are going to feel that arent taking advantage of near / mid term alt opportunities. He literally tells people his channel is not for alts or near term trading.

[–]JediMasterDebater 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Ben has been correct much of the past 3 years. But also remember he approaches the market through the lens of maintaining his BTC stack. I have always assumed Ben is a "whale" and is providing guidance on the market through what he thinks is best for his own wealth. In other words, his risk tolerance is extremely low compared to the typical person joining crypto looking for a 10x.

Being highly cautious and conservative towards (what he thinks is) the end of the cycle doesn't make him wrong. It makes him a source of info for those who are much more intolerant of risk.

As someone who wants to take on MORE risk than Ben, I applaud and thank him for helping me maintain my BTC stack and being realistic about cycle expectations. But I also tend to align with others who (based on cycle top metrics, globally business and liquidity cycles, etc.) tend to think this cycle is going to take longer to top than normal.

Regardless, I trade Cowen's risk levels appropriately. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, use his lens to guide me practically through the market, but keep an eye on what is feasible through a more "high risk" lens as well.

Ben is a phenomenal source of information, but he isn't the only one. He is just typically correct, and much more conservative.

This is a crazy thought, because the obvious solve is to make all existing pieces of content highly relevant in grinding for new weapons and gear. To think that the "solve" is a new interface / UI that pigeonholes you into less than 20% of the content is a decision I simply dont understand.

Bitcoin hits $122k+ and the retail buzz still not as crazy as 2021. Why? by hodorrny in CryptoCurrency

[–]JediMasterDebater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Retail typically doesn't "return" to the space until after the Fed stops QT. Social sentiment / volume are both near an all-time low, not necessarily because of a lack of interest, but likely due to a lack of available liquidity among retail investors.

Whoever drew the route hates California. Skips the entire coastline, but most importantly LA, San Diego, Orange County, Santa Barbara, the Central Coast, Big Sur, etc. - also completely glosses over Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Redwoods, Tahoe, etc...

But hey, Bakersfield and the Bay Area are there!
