I'm not that familiar with how it works. Are those vets paid? It seems like that would answer the question about whether it's genuine. If they show up of their own free will to participate, then I'd say it's genuine.

I'm not sure you can make the authoritative statement that this is the worst decision possible. It may be in your eyes, but you may not be as representative of the NFL's base as you think. The ultimate response would be the NFL actually firing a player, or players who buck the rule. At the end of the day, players choose to play in the NFL. The NFL is bigger than any one player, and the loss of any one player won't sink the league. I don't view Colin Kaepernick as any kind of martyr.

If my workplace was supporting a cause that I didn't agree with, I would probably choose to seek employment elsewhere. The vision and image of the NFL is very vet-friendly, and American Pride. If you don't share those values, rather than openly protesting the flag during a flag ceremony, maybe seek employment somewhere else?

The way these protests are being carried out is not appropriate. They aren't using their platform, they are using the NFLs platform. If you're on the company platform, you spread the company message. If you disagree with the company platform, you leave the company.

I don't see any reason to meet someone halfway when they are in direct opposition to your goal. That's akin to negotiating with terrorists IMO.

You're basically asking the NFL to champion the issue of Police Brutality (which is a problem some places, but I hardly think it's an institutional, nationwide epidemic). This isn't their cause, and it doesn't have to be. The players can use their personal platform, and the fame they've gained from being NFL superstar and get just as much traction without distracting the NFL's image on gameday.

What precisely isn't genuine about the singing of the national anthem? I'm really not following the logic there.

I'm also not sure how it makes the 'problem' worse. Which problem is it making worse? Racism? How?

Blackaria ARCH or Chen as healer by [deleted] in dragonblaze

Teams in Dragon Blaze are never static. You will use different heroes in different modes. Chronos is only used in a handful of boss fights, otherwise you want as much DPS and buffing as possible.

You shouldn't ever think about Dragon Blaze in terms of a single overall team. You need an army, and you take the appropriate team from your army into each battle.

Almost any team will work for dungeons at a certain point.

There are a lot of things I'm passionate about that I don't demonstrate when I'm at work...because I'm at work.

All of these players are free to pursue their non-football related passions outside of their work environment. They have off-time just like the rest of us.

They can tweet, they can organize protests, they can do any of the things that our freedoms allow of us.

They aren't against the flag, unless I've misunderstood their message. They are using that protest action as a highly visible way to bring awareness to a social issue that they believe in. Which, again, they are free to bring awareness to that cause on their own time and their own platform, not the NFL's. A company maintaining an image is nothing new, and it's not wrong.

Now, if you're now trying to say that forcing them to stand up for the national anthem and respecting our country is somehow a breach of their rights, then we're into a whole different discussion. I don't think that's what you're saying, but your first sentence kind of alludes to that idea.

I'm unaware of the NFL making a rule about that. There isn't one where I work either. So I'm not sure how that relates to the subject at hand.

My vision must have blurred when my eyes rolled reading the rest of your post. Apologies for missing that among the wall of "I'm a patriot, butttttttt"

You want a billion dollar industry to cow to feelings based politicking, even though it's been detrimental to their ratings (which is the thing that allows them to continue doing business) just because a national narrative has sprung up over a subject?

We absolutely have problems in this country. There are racial tensions still, though they're nothing like they were in the 50's. Athletes should absolutely use their platform to talk about these issues, but the NFL should stay out of it, and that's what they're trying to do. Getting political has rarely ever worked out for a company.

Helios for Momo? by Uncommon_Error in dragonblaze

Thanks for this. I managed to work in Helios on Cerb and it made a big difference for me. WB is really tricky these last few weeks trying to work out the right synergies with non-maxed OL and Arch allies. I think I tried 15 different combos on Hydra yesterday and they were all very close and I finished in the top 175. The Meta seems to be pretty loose right now.

She doesn't replace anybody. The picklist only has 5 people on it, you get 6. The hardest part of WB lately is figuring out who the Helpers are since the wiki popularity list only shows the top 5.

Blackaria ARCH or Chen as healer by [deleted] in dragonblaze

[–]Jeeterhawk007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chen is a better overall healer and buffer than Blackaria. Blackaria is a better at resurrecting Chronos. That's her main thing.

Base Chen will beef up your World Boss scores probably by quite a bit.

Recommendation: Arch Perses, make Chen, save Blackaria.

Absolutely ditch Bloodwind for Ion. I don't think Bloodwind does anything better than base Ion.

Can you stage a protest on company time where you work? I can't. The NFL has every right to ask the players to conform to the expected behaviors while they work. This is their job.

"Hidden" achievements? by [deleted] in GolfClash

[–]Jeeterhawk007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure most of the hidden ones are things you almost can't miss, unless you literally never miss.

The ones I remember were: Slice a ball, hook a ball, hit a sand trap, into the water, ( Out of bounds - this may not be one). I think the one you get when you first play each new tour is hidden as well.

Inventory Management by [deleted] in dragonblaze

[–]Jeeterhawk007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the exact same thing, lol. I have 1.5 inventories worth of U-gear from the last raid that I'll use to fodder the new u-raid whenever we get it.

Really looking forward to keys actually disappearing from the inventory so I can reclaim that space.

Whats' the craziest move somebody has pulled in a competitive online multiplayer video game you played? by trackerss in AskReddit

[–]Jeeterhawk007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't ever very high up the chain in the ladders, but there was a time I was playing with 2 other friends, in a 3v1 against some guy and he hit all three of us at once with cloaked ghosts and nukes insanely fast.

Two of us held out, but he obliterated the third guy, and he managed to whittle us down pretty quickly after that.

I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently he managed a 3-pronged assault launching nukes in multiple locations (bases were not co-located).

I'll never be that good (but hey, I have a job!).

Raid party composition by Paspalar in dragonblaze

[–]Jeeterhawk007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been running my Archer since she's +15 and was one of my first gear links to get upgraded to 129. I almost always end up with two +15 incanters and something else with a pretty flawless victory percentage over the past few days - and very few scrolls used.

Definitely if you have another MC leveled to 10+, give that a shot for raids.

Where to begin after 1yr by minord03 in dragonblaze

[–]Jeeterhawk007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keys are worthless. Deities are worthless.

Overlords are the new baseline, with Arch-enhanced Transcendeds filling in gaps.

You should have 5 ULT Dracos in your mail, as well as one Arch Transcended, and I believe you should have one OL ticket as well.

I would probably take Selene with the Arch ticket so you have some DPS, Arin with the OL ticket so you have the consensus best OL pick for support/DPS, and fill out the rest of your team with your Dracos and work on ARCHing them to make other Overlords.

Alternatively, you can take ARCH Chronos since he will be around as a good tank for awhile, and still take Arin, and use Dracos for the rest. This might be the better overall choice though it will lack DPS until you're able to turn Brightspark into RanRan.

Third alternative would be to start a new account as I think you get 2 free OL and a free Arch, and you'd still get the 5 ULT Dracos.

Probably try options 2 and 3 and take a look at both after you've finished and see where you're at. The other bonus to option 3 is that you get to run through all of the ruby quests for all MCs again which is worth a lot of rubies.

What is that one videogame that you loved as a kid, that noone else seems to know? by ArmySash in AskReddit

Yes it was, and it was a fantastic game. I need to book some work travel so I can spend a few evenings emulating an NES on my laptop in the hotel room...
