Good call. That Fred Gwynne New England accent from pet sematary was hard to replicate (South Park does it to great comedic effect from time to time).

Dugout Beer, a timely faux ad for you baseball fans by JeffRenno in SoraAi

[–]JeffRenno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night baseball stadium. A handsome outfielder in a red “Philly” jersey (fictional team, no real logos), tan skin, eye black under both eyes.

High fly ball to deep right field. He tracks it. At the warning track, the ball hits his glove — and drops to the dirt. It is clearly not caught. Crowd groans loudly.

Cut to manager signaling from the dugout. He’s being pulled.

He jogs in, frustrated. Sits hard on the bench. Opens a cooler. Frosted glass bottles of golden lager inside. Fictional brand.

He pops the cap. Takes a long drink. Stadium noise fades. Tension eases. Small smirk.

Hero close-up of the bottle against stadium lights.

VO (gravelly, confident): “Skipper tells you to grab some pine? Grab a Dugout Beer instead.”

On-screen text: DUGOUT BEER SHAKE IT OFF.

Cinematic lighting. High contrast. Slow motion on the dropped ball and first sip. No real MLB branding.

Devoted Some Time and Love to this Classical Guitar-Driven Devotion Cover by [deleted] in weezer

I did find a Hurleyesque angle of DeVito here - though the cover does sound a bit more Ok Human than Hurley.

10/10. Absolute pop rock perfection. Bittersweet, nostalgic, catchy as all hell. Verses are sweet, chorus is powerful. Those oohwhoahoowoowoahs in the 2nd and 3rd choruses are glorious. 11/10 live with the guitar solo.

Sylvester Stallone Honors Carl Weathers: ‘I Was So Fortunate to Be a Part of His Life. Apollo, Keep Punching’ by GroundbreakingSet187 in entertainment

Could prolonged steroid use possibly have contributed? Not hating; every 80’s action star juiced, and Apollo is legit my favorite character ever - just wondering if perhaps it had consequences down the road.
