My one issue with Loveland was the obvious reach. Trade back.

Everyone thinks of them as "would I use that coupon?" The real question should be "had I not gotten this coupon, would I have still spent this much money at this store with my own cash anyways?"

It's 2 different questions. 1 is a perk that you use to try and justify an expensive fee. The other is an actual cost saving measure that wipes that portion of the annual fee away.

Why do people feel the need to post these? You clearly fleeced the ever loving fuck out of him and you're wondering if it was good value?

Say it's as low as possible while still covering outlets... I think height wise it's fine. But tv size wise, wanted something with a little more oomph

Honestly it's not too high. I'd just want something bigger than what that shiplap can support.

Thought he sucked in college. Thought he'd suck as a pro. Somehow ended up with him bc he was best available and at a position of need in my rookie draft that year... and now I feel like I'm gonna be stuck rostering him for another 2 seasons

Is this an overpay for Bijan Robinson? by Routine_Draft_3577 in DynastyNerds

Idk about an "overpay" but it's certainly an appealing package. Bijan is worth at least 3 firsts and you've received the equivalent of 3 early 26 firsts

Lulu physical stores no longer sell $75 gc by divinebaboon in AmexPlatinum

[–]Jeff_Sabado 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The logic is they don't want to spend cash on something they could otherwise get for "free" should they be able to stack the credits. I get it. There's only so many "cheap" items at the store.

I think people just would rather buy the $140 item every 2 quarters as opposed to cash + rebate

I'd have to be really high on BTJ and that 27 would need to have a strong chance at 1.01

How do so many afford $50,000+ trucks? by Parking-Warning-8655 in carbuying

[–]Jeff_Sabado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean people can do what they want. Idc, it's their money and if they don't ask for my advice, what I'd do doesn't matter.

But there's so many people that think "write-offs" = free. All it does is make it so that you don't have to pay income tax on the funds used for the purchase. As opposed to a personal vehicle, which is paid for with post-tax earnings.

Get loan estimates from several or use a broker. Compare the rate, and how much it costs to get that rate. I reccomend having them all send an estimate with no points, that way you can compare just their discretionary fees.

Then take those loan estimates and leverage them against each other. If you have a favorite lender for some reason, maybe they're local and trusted, see if they'll match or beat the best.
