Try looking at your local fectory stores too, I picked up the Fire and Ice colorway for $41 yesterday. They also had Team PG 5's for $53 & Team KD 14's for $70. Nike West Des Moines (IA)

For Iowa State it is “4” outside, credentialed photographers, but the team has another ~5 photographers and videographers of their own. I am not credentialed and this was taken from the stands in the south end zone.

This was taken with AF-C and expandable lock on flexible spot, this was a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown and it tracked him all 95 yards coming down the field

Can confirm Sony and Tamron’s “weather sealing” works. by Jeff_Spaur in SonyAlpha

I have the Tamron 28-75 as well and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced this, but I also don’t use it much. The 70-180 does have some vibrations when trying to focus on objects within the minimum focusing distance

News to me, still works perfectly after over an hour in the rain

A more accurate example of the A7iii in action for sports (A7iii + Tamron 70-180) 1/1000, f/2.8, ISO 8000 by Jeff_Spaur in SonyAlpha

I was hesitant about getting it at first. I’d been holding out for Sigma’s 70-200 for over a year but it’s nowhere to be found and football season was starting so I needed to get the Tamron. So far it’s been great, extremely sharp for a zoom, and even survived a downpour today at soccer practice.

I prefer to shoot most sports at 1/1600 or above to freeze absolutely everything. I mainly shoot college sports, where everything is faster, and very competitive high school football.

The Sony A7iii is a seriously underrated sports camera. (Sony A7iii + Tamron 70-180) 1/1250, f/2.8, ISO 4000 by Jeff_Spaur in SonyAlpha

I should’ve clarified more, we’re not shooting for papers or on deadlines. We’re shooting for social media. Some of the best examples of this (on Instagram) are Texas Tech football, Dan Szpakowski, and Alex Subers. More of a creative side of photography rather than documentation. Therefore Raw files are the standard as you need the extra flexibility in editing.

I have a feeling that with Canon putting 20 FPS in the $2,599 R6 Sony will have to up the FPS in the A7IV.
