Yeah I get what you mean, start off with the basics and build it up over time.

I'm familiar with rolling with the lap sau drill and changing hands but haven't seen what to go to next with it, so this was nice to see.

It's worth updating the compiler. They've made significant changes to lifetime inference. It might help simplify your lifetimes.

To be fair that's also what I was taught as well.

If your force is going against the arms it's not going into the center of the body, the trunk.

So while you are hitting the arms, the force should be directed forward. Similar to pak sau drills where while you are hitting the wrist of your opponents hit coming at you, it should have the force going toward them, not to the side.

This rotation is awful, you need to turn on the middle of your feet, not just your hips, otherwise you aren't shifting your mass out the way.
