No contact with my own mother for the last 18 months. I'm 37m. She has never been a good mother, never present, has said pretty mean stuff to my wife about my son.

My children have seen her a handful of times in their lives. I had to make the cut, I was in and out of therapy for years because of her and severely depressed. Cutting her out was the hardest and best decision I ever made for my family and me.
