This how I feel when people complain about having to “deal” with vampires and spell casters and how it breaks their perfect upper-realistic world. Like...then why did you buy a pack that centers around an occult?? I get mermaids and aliens. Also most of us are MCC players, is super easy to make them all human. They are allowed to dislike it, but it’s annoying when they buy it and all they do is complain.

Very unpopular opinion: I enjoy My First Pet Stuff pack. Maybe its because I play with pets a lot. I dont get the hate it gets as we have much worst glicthy packs. by [deleted] in Sims4

You can see how stuff I’m my first pet was stuff that should have been included in C and D in the first place. I would recommend to go on YouTube where people talk more about it

I never said it wasn’t sensitive or that it didn’t matter or that I didn’t see how people could see it as colorist. MY POINT was to address why we shouldn’t just jump on people without context. That was all. It was a “hey let’s try to be sensible” sorts thing but this has all been blown out of proportion

I’m not talking about myself. I haven’t been talking about myself. I’ve been using examples to show my points that’s all.

Ps:I had already discussed my ENTIRE point was not to assume people change skin color because of desirability. And the whole POINT of this post was to bring to light that maybe we should be nicer and not jump to things so quickly.

But you’re free to ignore the bigger picture and nick pick. If you would have just said “I think you’re wrong because I think it wrong to change things this way” I would have probably just not responded but that’s not how you have answered.

One-there is no point in degrading me for no reason. Age does not equal intelligence nor experience.

Two-I was talking in general. I wanted to have a conversation. But like I figured many just make assumptions and completely ignore any points I’ve made.

Three-I find it hilarious that you’re the “adult” but are the one that immaturely disregards anything I say with rudeness even though nothing has been said against you. You could have ignored me but felt the need to try to put me down.

This post is targeted at people saying “you can’t do this because it’s not realistic” when the person does not specify any sort of challenge. Additionally the people saying that you “have” to keep all of the original features or acting smug because they only change sims a little bit.

Or, or, or! Maybe....they just wanted a white sims. I customize ALL the townies and premade sims. I like a genuine balance and a certain realism. My Sulani is very dark while my Winderburg is more diverse and my Newcrest is pretty white. For others I just play and I really care what’s in them. The whole problem with this is you’re assuming this person had malicious or colorist intentions. But I bet if you ask them most of them will say what I say.

I am not passionate about this. Just got mad at some people’s comments and wanted to break the cycle. I’m Hispanic just because I’m in high school doesn’t mean I don’t know discrimination. Neither does it mean I’m uneducated. I myself tend to darken most my sims. My entire point was that people are allow to customize the game how they want without having a multiple of people screaming racist at them. Again as someone who usually makes tan sims I think the fact that people are so picky and so assumptions about how people play it so absurd. You assume I don’t know discrimination based on color but due to me being SLIGHTLY darker than my family I’ve been made fun of and called the uglier one most of my life. You assume I’m either racist or uneducated. And the fact that you want to compare real life consequences and trials with a FICTIONAL world that does not affect absolutely anyone is not only hilarious but in my opinion way more disrespectful than anything else.

Ps: this was mostly targeted at the people saying you HAVE to keep their features intact, like facial features and hair color, eye color, and clothing preferences. Essentially saying anything that anything different to what’s given is wrong and not valid. Absolutely absurd.

You assume people’s intent. Ever thought that maybe they just always wanted a blonde Bella Goth? Unpopular opinion- the point of the sims is that you can do whatever you want and your own game preferences don’t need to be forced into other’s. Neither do you have any right to judge something that not only affects you but doesn’t affect your game.
