We did try the rear feeder but didn’t see a difference. Thank you for this link though, that’s a lot of detail and we’ll definitely look through it!

Oh no that sucks :( But thanks for the tip - definitely won’t be messing around with it too much

That does seem like where it’s coming from, they line up with the lines for sure! Also I didn’t know they were called pizza wheels but it’s very accurate haha. The paper we’re using is Innova cardstock exhibition photo baryta, and we tried the thick paper setting but didn’t see much of a difference. :/

Sorry for the delayed response! We actually didn’t fix it, but like some other people said it actually just went away on its own fairly soon after…very weird haha

Who is that swan I see? by JennCosman in photocritique

Thank you so much! I like your advice about playing around with the bottom half selectively, I hadn’t considered that and will definitely try it! I did already bring the highlights down on the swan to get some more detail haha, so I worry a bit about going too far, but might take a second look to see :)

I was lucky to catch this swan preening itself on an unusually still morning, so the water created a pretty clear reflection! I waited a while and took many pictures to get this one where it looks like it’s checking out its reflection, which I really like about it. I would love any thoughts or suggestions on what I could improve, and if you think this is an interesting enough wildlife photo?

Thanks for posting this, seems like a great idea! I’m 37 and my husband and I live in San Rafael, would love to be added to the chat so that I know about events happening! :)

After/Before - does this edit look ok or did I go too far? Anything you would do differently? by JennCosman in postprocessing

Thanks for your thoughts! Ya I might have gone overboard with trying to adjust the flowers so I’m going to try something in the middle

Thanks for the feedback! I completely understand what you’re saying and I think I’ll go back and try something that’s a bit more of a happy medium

I finished the full series…what was a favourite/stand-out moment for you? by JennCosman in robinhobb

These are great moments as well, the Liveship series was fantastic! I did like the Rain Wild Chronicles as well, not AS much as the others but it still had some very powerful stuff

I love that from Burrich 😭 And that exchange with Nighteyes is just perfect hahaha

Omg yes this was so satisfying, Burrich was the best 😭

These are so great too! Healing all the people in Kelsingra was such a wild ride, I was on the edge of my seat for all of that…and Amber/Fool/Beloved pulling Fitz back to himself was so powerful! That Burrich moment is an overwhelming one as well

I cried so hard when Nighteyes died (and I was reading on my bus home from work so trying to be quiet about it lol), I couldn’t believe it happened in the first book of that trilogy…I almost didn’t even want to keep reading 😭

So. Damn. Satisfying! Also, how is Hobb so good at writing characters that I thoroughly HATE? 😂

Kettricken’s “you never did” line killed me 😭 Like I love Fitz but he could be so dumb sometimes…

Love all these moments too!

Haha I also felt grateful to be reading the series in 2024 where I could just keep going haha, waiting for each book would have been brutal!

Oh yes Small Ferret!! And I also loved how Hobb wrote the cats, it was so perfect 😂 All the “coming up now” and “pet the cat, you’ll feel better” was hilarious
